As soon as people in the east terrace realised who the ref was there was a lot of eye rolling. Was he bias - No. Just generally poor. Don't think it was ever in doubt the red would be rescinded. Should have been a 2nd yellow (No appeal) so Joey should be grateful for that They argued every decision made against them; continually stopped quick freekicks being taken. On top of that Joey Barton spent a large portion of the second half haranguing the forth official; you reap what you sow A very typical Northern team then.

Does anyone ever get a yellow for 'ungentlemanly conduct' anymore. Think there should be a new yellow card introduced that can be dished out for 'being annoying' Not seen old school reffing for a while when a quick word with the captain's along the lines of 'grow up or I'll get the yellow out' happen
