Think baggy used to live there as well This is true. Your shop doorway is rather comfy. You only had to ask and you could Squat in the 3 bed 5 star palace flat above it.

I'd rather sh!t in my hands and clap than watch a game in this competition in its current format. Getting to Wembley won't change that. Not attending is the only way of stopping the FA destroying the lower leagues and widening the gap between the Premier League. An absolute farse. If the FA were listening to fans by looking at the dropped attendances they would have done something by now. But they haven't listened and aren't changing so if we get to Wembley, happy days ill go and watch.

The only way we are going to get the FA to listen is to STOP loaning any players from the premier league and just stick to EFL. Watch those money grabbers moan then when they have 100's of players not getting a game every week

Wemberley, Wemberley ,were the famous Bristol Rovers ,an were going to Wemberley!!! Fine. And when you`re sitting in the Mem with no oxygen, because Sky have sold it all to Chelsea and Man City, and the filling in the sausage rolls has been replaced with rat poison, I hope it was worth it. Talk about dramatic. You really think that someone supporting the tin pot cup will make 7000+ gasheads stay away from the mem on a league match day....

My first instinct was to boycott last season which I did. This year I realised that putting money into the pocket of my football club was vital, so I've gone. The Premier league have no interest in what we do nor do they need to. The formation of that league was the first step in changing football in this country forever and I don't hear many boycotts of sky sports, bt and match of the day. If there's an opportunity to support the club I'd take it even if it meant dragging myself to a miserable part of North London to visit the lifeless bowl that pays homage to corporate football i this country. Sunderland had the best answer to this competition in the way that they swept aside Newcastle last night. Come back when you've grown up boys. It's probably not good form to quote yourself but there's been a three long responses to the original post. I'd ask those posters if you're successful and this tournament is returned to its previous format, what happens next? Its the power of the Premier league that is the source of the problem this tournament is merely a symptom. Until we as fans deal with the money that flows into the Premier league nothing will change. As I asked originally how many people are prepared the boycott sky sports, bt and match of the day until an equitable distribution of funds are achieved. The problem is those aren't things you can boycott with any obvious effect. The Checkatrade is. If there were no Sunderland fans last night - if there is a sub 10 000 gate at Wembley - that impacts massively. This is an opportunity to make a stand. Yes there is a bigger picture to consider but doing nothing because you can't do everything isn't a great approach in my view (if that's what you're arguing).

Its not defeatist, its called them not giving a crap what we think. They will do what they want. So you can still support your club at the ground or at home.

Really hoping we don’t get there. I have boycotted this - even last night with the game only a 45 minutes drive for me. However I would come under huge emotional pressure from my young lads who are already begging me to take them if we are playing at Wembley. They are just about too young to fully understand my reasons for not wanting to go, which makes it even harder. I’m sure there are others in the same boat as me. Can’t argue with this. I’ve no interest in watching any games in the competition and to be honest I didn’t care for it too much before either ( the Mickey Mouse cup) .... but I did go to Wembley when we played Tranmere . Just to say I’d been to watch my club play there. My lad is too young to have been to watch us at Wembley.... could I deny my son the chance to go ? I’d be a bit of a c*** if I did

I see today Pep Guardiola, whilst selling a 19-year old (with 15 Man City first-team appearances over three years) to Real Madrid said: "...create a good second league and you will see how many players make it to the Premier League..."
...they're all completely missing the point. Premier League teams buying up and hoarding talent in their academies is the problem, limiting their size is the solution....it's not rocket science, but then their aim is not 'the good of the game' or even the welfare of any individual player, it's simply to make as much cash as they can and ruin it for everyone else.....

Amazing isnt it? They poached Diaz from Malaga as a 13 year old in the first place. Its not as if he's from Burnage or even Stockport is it? Those comments from the fraud Pep Guardiola should be enough for everybody to carry on boycotting this sham of a competition. Those saying they'd take their kids if we got to Wembley, Grow a pair for the sake of our "Beautiful Game".

I think it's easier to not go to Yeovil in the first round on a wet Wed's night than it is to not to support sky and bt sports in any way until a more equitable position is reached.
