So you think the current action is wrong but you're not prepared to take a stand against it? Correct ! I support MY team, not something i or you can change with or without a boycott You're the dream consumer Henbury. Passive and prepared to blindly follow. Massively naive to think supporters have no influence on the future of U21 teams in lower league competitions.

I won’t go if we get to Wembley. Nothing would make me prouder to be gas than be the first fans to boycott it. The fa and efl don’t care about the smaller clubs. Premier 2 isn’t far off and then what. The fa cup the fa are meant to be the protectors of the history and traditions of that competition. They’ve failed big time. It’s only a matter of time before they push to kill the history and tradition of the football League. I fear for the future of rovers and football at this level so that is why I’m making a stand. Following and having even a season ticket will be a thing of the past for me if b teams are in the same division. Germany have b teams in the lower leagues the fans hate it. They’ve managed to push them down a level. This is something we don’t want to leave a gap in the door for. I think it will happen as people just moan about things in this country that’s what we’re good at now. There’s a bigger picture

The Only way you are going to get these people attension is to get your placards out and do what they do in parliament square and go to Wembley to protest

According to the EFL website we have been drawn away to Oxford. A good to reasonable chance of progressing and earning a bit more prize money. Glad we missed the big boys for another round. Edit - a search on the net suggests the draw is tonight at 7pm. Where did you see this?

According to the EFL website we have been drawn away to Oxford. Another Oxford invasion; those weasels would ensure we only got a minimal number of tickets anyway

The new Wembley stadium is sh**e and this competition is now sh**e. I love my club but not interested in going if we get to the final. Each to their own though. Totally agree about the new Wembley. They made a complete pig’s ear of it. Walking down Wembley Way seeing the twin towers approaching was so iconic. I went to 4 games at the old Wembley (The two Gas defeats, Wimborne Town winning the FA Vase and England beating Holland 4-1 in Euro 96), all as a child. Facilities seemed fine to me and each occasion was very special and memorable. Going to the Shrewsbury playoff win was great but only because of the result and camaraderie of the fans. The stadium felt soulless, the matchday experience likewise and the surrounding area was a dump. All at the cost of, what was it, 800 million? How to ruin something genuinely special at great cost and for no good reason. Woop woop!

Totally agree that the new Wembley is a big let down , how do the powers that be get away with it, it must be so disappointing for those making the trip for the first time,,the surroundings are awful, the place itself has no special ambience, its just a pile of expensive concrete dumped down in the middle of other piles of concrete!the cost was crazy and fa should have sold it when they had the chance and started again!!The millennium stadium in Cardiff showed how it should be done at a fraction of the cost , built on time and has that special ambience supporters look for, Old Tr afford is another one with that special some thing , the magic of Wembley as a place of football pilgrimage is a thing of the past, come to think of it ,bit like me!

Many of us enjoyed the visit to Halifax more than the visit to the new Wembley.

I'd rather sh!t in my hands and clap than watch a game in this competition in its current format. Getting to Wembley won't change that. Not attending is the only way of stopping the FA destroying the lower leagues and widening the gap between the Premier League. An absolute farse. I see it as the perfect format for showing off young talent to League 1 and 2 clubs prior to the endless loans they have to endure before being discarded to one of them. We always fielded our bench sitters and young players in this competition anyway unless we made the semis, so what's the problem? We could learn from them too. It's not as though we've lost to any U21 teams, is it? I don't buy into the conspiracy theory that it's a project with the intention of eventually adding PL reserve teams to Leagues 1 and 2. That sounds like something made up in the Oval Office and thrown out on social media where it became 'God's' honest truth. The PL is the best league in the world and why people hate it is beyond me, but each to their own. And please don't mention Brian Clough. He forked out millions to win the league back in the nostalgia years and we knocked 8 past one of his sides in a powerful display of shooting skills that all our "forwards" should be made to watch over and over again strapped in a chair with their eyelids taped up.
