Apparently GC has a poster in the dressing room saying winners win games. I can remember when we had Lawrence as our Director of football he did a similar thing when we went on a run in league 2 winning 7 out of 8 games. Lawrence was a motivator unfortunately Higgs and co got rid of him, Trollop couldn't motivate and dismantled a good team and we fell apart . I like GC' s approach hopefully he can get the winning mentality back in the team for the long term. He also indicated he would like a bit smaller squad, we have to many mediocre players few less players and a bit more quality is what is required. GC seams to like picking his best players and sticking with them rather than having a larger squad like DC where he had more players to choose from so he could chop and change. there are to many league 2 standard players in this squad at the moment.

What a poster.
I have a feeling that Graham might like ground breaking goals. I’m warming to him. He’s a winner with a mentality that gets players to take responsibility and perform. Brilliant...

Every now and then in the D.C. era you’d see a photo from the dressing room with a poster which had an evolution on referencing initially the drop from the league and then the two promotions and then the luck ran out.
Perhaps DCs downfall was that there were now too few players connected to the success of previous years and that sort of thing became meaningless

I only hope that when he gets his next management job his employers deliver on their promises.

I would imagine DC will only now go to a club with the correct infrastructure for the size of the club in place.... And let's be honest, there are quite a lot of them out there....

Atkins had motivational posters plastered around the changing room. Fans Forum team saw it when we played the City fans back when.
The last thing our lads read over the door as they walked out was “when you cross the white line, you cease to be an individual”.
Away changing room Atkins had everything painted dark grey. Last time I saw it, it was still like that.

The trouble is these same supporters that are quick to call GC the best thing since sliced bread will soon be quick to turn on him if we go and lose 4 in a row. I'm not criticising GC but it's too easy to get carried away at the minute. He's done a good job thus far but we will have a better idea this time next year of just how good a manager he is. Until then, I'll support him and hope for the best.

They're no better than the ones who suddenly claim Nicholls isn't still the best striker at the club just because Jakubiak has scored a few goals.

At the moment all we really know about GC is that he’s a passionate, pragmatic coach who has simplified things for the players and got them fighting for him and for their shirt. That’s working wonders atm and hopefully will be enough to see us safe, but it’ll be interesting to see what else he has in his managerial toolbox should we be in L1 next season (as if we’re in L2 he won’t be in charge).

Here's the poster I keep on my wall to inspire me to get through the day.... Quite a piece of memorabilia it is too.... Initially it makes the gum taste fckin awfull, but after a few minutes of chewing it returns back to it’s usual flavour. ”Winners win gums” Don’t forget to wash your hands.

Goalscorers win games. Let's sign a couple this window! Name some realistically we can afford and who would come? Its difficult without knowing who is available and how much they are earning or what we have to spend, but some that have caught my eye recently are Niall Ennis (Wolves), Rushian Hepburn-Murphy (A Villa), Danny Loader (Reading), Aaron Connolly (Brighton), Adam Idah (Norwich), Elias Sorensen (Newcastle), Tyrese Campbell (Stoke), Aldin Turkes (Rapperswil-Jona), Rufat Dadashov (Prussian Munster), Valmir Suljemani (Waldorf Mannheim), Charlie Brown (Chelsea), Daishawn Redan (Chelsea), Ryan Cassidy (Watford), Troy Parrott (Tottenham), Tyreece John-Jules (Arsenal), Folarin Balogun (Arsenal), Sam Greenwood (Arsenal), Bobby Duncan (Liverpool), Paul Glatzel (Liverpool), Ellis Simms (Everton), Keane Lewis-Potter (Hull), Tinashe Chakwana (Burnley), Marcus Forss (Brentford) and Joe Gelhardt (Wigan).
