Agree.
Slocombe can't go out on loan again so he'll stay here as number 2. Smith will go.
That's assuming we can find a club prepared to take Smith, paying Slocombe's contract up so he can drop down to the National league maybe a better option. Not sure where this suggestion that Bonham's making mistakes lately is coming from, I can't recall him making any post GC in the league, it's even that's hard to judge whether last nights was an error from the camera angle. fleetwood goal, wallsall goal and last night

We've had a lot of problems with the GK position for a long time.
That can't all have been that bad.
Now Bonham's going downhill.
Should we be looking at our GK coaching?
Theres a reason Lumley didn't want to come back.

I like Bonham . He is mistake prone but he has made world class saves that have earned us points when we could have suffered defeat. When he signed I was concerned that the Carlisle forum highlighted the points he had cost them during his loan spell with them. They wouldnt have him back. The few hiccups he has suffered with us recently may be a blessing in disguise - it may put others off from wanting to sign him. Peyerborough were allegedly interested and as Northampton is very close to Peterborough they would have been represented last night. Hopefully, after the Cobblers goal they will lose interest.

Was stood right in line with the fleetwood goal it was no more than a foot away from him, watch it back Was directly behind goal at wallsall,it wasn’t a powerful shot it was a flick over his head and he got caught flat footed Don’t know how the hell that went in,div 1 players in general are hit and miss that’s why they are in the division Would still put a bid in for him as the best we have,we’ve had terrible keepers the last few years so he looks impressive I would of kept chapman the one we had a few years ago

I've often wondered why they are called The Cobblers 🤔

Wonder if that means Lines is off then...?? Begs the question why Slocombe went out on loan very quickly in the first place as he was our number one keeper at the time
