First off, DC has and never will be my "Messiah" , only above average for a lower league manager Ask yourself why our strikers have been so poor over the last 12 months ? , Poor coaching, poor choice, Bad management or just rank bad transfers... These players are playing better now for two reasons :- 1) DC has gone 2) Most are out of contract at the end of season and need to "Impress" before then I wish our new management team all the very best and will support them to the hilt, but the reason we are in such a poor low league position is simple, the players are just not good enough for this league. Next season will be a make or break for the current management team as they will be replacing 6 to 8 of the current crop of players I agree that most of the squad are not up to league one standard also poor management from DC and MS,I would expect they are playing better because they have the confidence on the way they are set up to play in a balanced side knowing if they play well they keep the shirt. GC and CH wouldn’t have been my first choice but so far done a great job with the results so far. Calling players on here or at the stadium shlt won’t give the players any confidence will it HG? you didn’t answer regarding the BOD who you would’ve died for ? Like many other people on here at the time, we believed the family had the best intentions to take us forward and still is i believe, but the lack of communication from them, even the most basic, had put a lot of peoples backs up. i think the joke of a post about another failed attempt at a new ground a Emersons Green over xmas was another poor attempt to appease the fans which failed

Just watched a YouTube video on him & his size & finishing reminds me of Jamie Curaton, he certainly looks decent if we can sign him. I'm not saying that you're wrong, but just to balance it a little by saying that YouTube clips can be very misleading. They only show a minor fraction of their total minutes on the pitch. You could probably make any striker look good if you compiled a bunch of small snippets showing only the good things they've done. " You could probably make any striker look good if you compiled a bunch of small snippets showing only the good things they've done." What, even Nichols..?

Even Nichols, he scored some decent goals and showed plenty of skill whilst at Exeter. Lots of YouTube-able material!

No great loss by the sound of his scoring record, but it was worth being linked to him just for Popuppirate’s comment.

Asked about what happened with Seager, Coughlan explained: "He came in.
"I know Ryan Seager, over the years I have seen a lot of games and I get out and about. I have seen him play quite a lot of times for Southampton.
"He came in, he is a player a quite like. We brought him in and had a look at him.
"I just thought he is quite a similar player to Gavin Reilly, Tom Nichols and Alex Jakubiak so I just would have struggled to fit him into our team ahead of Jakubiak, Reilly and Nichols and like I have said all along I am quite positive and happy with the players I have got.
"I didn’t think he would get into the team ahead of those three."

I dont know who we should get, but we still dont look like scoring too many from open play.

Yeovil have new American owners coming, doubt they will waste much time sorting out Huish either. Hoped id never see the days of us playing yeovil and forest green again, the way it's going they will leapfrog us.
