Why did you buy Bristol Rovers FC?
What were your realistic plans/ambitions that motivated you to make the purchase?
Were you expecting to have money to spend that your family has ended up denying you?
Where is YOUR money for improvements that will AT LEAST, ensure our safety in League One?

UTG The third question is key and that the denial of funds from the family is a fact. I suspect when they bought the club the family fully intended to back Wael, although I seem to remember an early interview with him just after the deal on the local news where he mentioned that his family needed some convincing to buy the club. At that time the club was on the up and had the UWE stadium deal on the table - with the clubs potential fanbase and the design of the stadium I expect Wael convinced them to invest on the basis of the potential to be a Championship club (maybe premier league with a 20,000 stadium) and historic crowds at Eastville of 30,000+. Once Sainsburys pulled out, its left the club with an asset that it can't sell (well, not to a supermarket) and I expect since that point in time the family have completely backed away from any significant investment other than just "maintaining the asset" with some hope that they can eventually offload the club. A re-investment in the Mem on the cheap won't achieve the 20,000 stadium and therefore bursts any potential for top-end Championship or Premier League. We as fans might accept a ceiling of the Championship but they want some profit on their investment - not going to happen without Premier League TV money! They can't afford to run the club into the ground as they'd lose whatever pennies they have invested if the club went to the wall, but if we go down then the potential for a white knight to get involved and buy the club is really unlikely. Seriously worrying times. Wael needs to climb out from his hiding place and talk frankly about what his short and medium term plans are- time for some serious honesty even if its bad news; better that than no comms at all with heads in the sand whilst he's hiding like a naughty school boy - doubt he's too popular with the family!
