Where was the tribute to Kitty Thorne? Before the game around 1430 before most of the crowd were even in the ground ,Lance announced that there would be tributes to Kitty and two other named Gasheads who had recently passed away at certain times in the game. Due to the lack of a working scoreboard nobody knew what was suppose to happen. The clubs board should hang their heads in shame because of this. The least Kitty deserved was a minute's applause before the game with the teams on the pitch. I await a statement from the club apologising for.this total cock up and urge them to organise this to happen before the Peterborough game.

It was mentioned at half time along with another fan. We had another 1 min clap during the match. It wasn't as well supported as previous 1 min tributes, presumably as people can't remember the last time we had match without a 1 min clap . I think we should mention names over the tanoy and stop with the clapping as its become automatic and unemotional.

At Stoke, they do such things with tributes and pics on a big screen but we don't have a Big screen!!! In fact, we don't have very much at all.

Let's be honest, any clapping was barely noticeable.Poor communication yet again from the powers that be.

Perhaps we could have an 'in memoriam' tent painted black situated somewhere on the terracing so that we can look at it wistfully and be reminded of our loved ones.

Averaging one every game is a bit much let alone 3, which would have been the second time this season. Devalues it. And possibly causes them to be forgotten!
Should be reserved for notable individuals like Geoff Dunford, significant former players and managers, and supporters of great interest like Kitty.
I was disappointed that the 12th minute came and went without her applause.
Otherwise at this rate we'll be clapping for 90 minutes. Which perhaps isn't a bad thing because we don't have much else to applaud right now

I've real trouble with this clapping for one minute thing. I get that a tribute to Kitty would have been appropriate. But beyond that where do you draw the line? What,in all seriousness,if four or five fans die in a short period of time. Who draws the line? Who qualifies and who doesn't? What if the chosen minute coincides with a penalty, a serious injury or an opposition's goal? If it has to happen at all a dignified tribute before the game with all mentioned and then a minute's clapping for all would be much better; together with a tribute in the programme.

Def missed kitty Thorne’s tribute. We noticed that at half time. Think one of the others sort of happened but it was just as Wycombe scored so I think people felt obliged to stop clapping, it seemed weird to clap when the opposition score. What is it with this clapping thing anyway?

Glad its not just me.
Hopefully the club put a stop to it, and keep a mins silence for those notable with the club.

If they’re going to keep doing these, I think they’re better off having a joint applause on the 12th minute for being the 12th man

The question of who should get a minutes applause or silence before a match is obviously a thorny issue. BUT blaming the board is not particularly helpful. And not sure someone should have an official minutes applause before a match because they were probably our oldest supporter. I guess now there is a new oldest supporter, so will they get one? I personally know a fantastic lady who has supported Rovers since 1947 and done well over 20 years of vol work for the club, plus many more outside of the club, and yet gets no recognition and even had something happen in the closed season that was not good.

Agree with someone above 1. These are happening far too frequently to be meaningful 2. How are those in the ground supposed to be aware what is going on when our scoreboard is broken/TV screen we were promised still hasn’t materialised.

As far as I am concerned the club is run by the board and they should have made sure all supporters were properly made aware of the tribute for Kitty taking into consideration that they knew the scoreboard was defunct and an announcement made by Lance a good half hour before kickoff when thousands were not even in the ground. We have had plenty of these tributes in the past which have been very well supported, today like the team's performance was as far as I am concerned simply not good enough.

It was mentioned at half time there would be a minutes applause at two points in the second half, but sat in the South West Stand the bloody score board isn’t working so you haven’t got a clue when it is. Are we really that skint we can’t fix the scoreboard, which had been out of action for 3 matches now? Actually, I know the bloody answer to that.

Seriously. Have you no shame? Don't use other people's grief to promote your board bashing agenda. Pr1cks.

Tin hat on.
Can't you do an applaud on 104 mins for Kitty if Tuesday match goes into extra time?
Especially as it's her funeral on the day.
