The first one of the 3 or 4 players going out as Coughlan specified in his post match interview. Returning to his former club Aldershot according to the local paper that covers the shots, not sure if a loan or a permanent. Shame it hasn't worked out with us, wouldn't have been opposed to giving him a go, we could hardly do any worse going forward than today.
Thoughts?

He’s clearly not good enough for football league level yet.

He was barely given a chance.

From what I gather, Mensah was quite an exciting winger until he got injured and was out for months. He was only back from injury six months or so when Rovers bought him and found out he wasn’t the same player, even allowing for him to gain full fitness. If he was a DC signing then he was an odd one just like a few others this season which leads me to believe someone else was pulling the strings regards signings.

He was barely given a chance. The fact Lincoln didn't either perhaps tells it's own story, it's hard to understand what went on with our transfers, was it poor scouting or just poor decisions by DC, or whoever was in charge of signings.

I would send him back to aldershot, have them take over his contract and make it a free transfer but with a 50% sell on fee on any future transfer.

Boradbent gone, mensah going maybe, sercombe rumoured. I would not be surprised to see smith, leadbitter, Bennett, and if they can Nichols follow! Also where was Sinclair today?

If he was a DC signing then he was an odd one just like a few others this season which leads me to believe someone else was pulling the strings regards signings. I believe some of the fees paid for certain players were also out of DCs hands, though the shorter contracts were DCs idea as he believes it keeps players hungry. The risk is, if they do well they can leave for very little.

Clearing the decks for relegation then administration then liquidation Now there’s a nice cheerful thought. Better start eating more of the sausage rolls then, eh?

DC gave some too many chances but Bernard I saw about twice looked quite talented in the small time I saw him. Agree obviously Lincoln didn't see anything in him, shame though a waste of £61,000.
