Considering it was his first lost - he lost the plot with that interview and took us straight back to where we were before dc got sacked! Bad management I’m sorry to say! Too passionate and no thought! Some of us have seen that result coming, we were poor v Burton, when too many games was used as an excuse, shocking at Accrington, where Bonham saved us. We've just drifted back to how we were playing under DC. One bonus is that we've picked up a few points since he left so not already dead & buried by January but now we need the owners to back GC in the transfer market and players actually wanting to join us.

What a sad state of affairs when we have to 'argue' over who is 'better' out of Stefan Payne (15 goals in 70 League One games) and Tom Nichols (13 goals in 120 League One games). Embarrassing stats when you consider some of the strikers we've had in the past.

They are both useless but Payne has a better goal scoring ratio. Nicholls 1 goal in 18 months . Payne 1 goal in 6 months year We look a much better side with Nichols in the team than Payne. Nichols has actually got quite a few assists this season. It would have made us feel less depressed if they had hit the woodwork a few times, which Nichols is quite good at.

I think that interview was as bad or "badder" then DC's last interview before it got him the sack.... Worse is the word you're looking for. look When in Bristol Speak like Bristol, Lush !

About time someone told the truth, those players need a good kick up the ass, sugar coating it, isn’t gonna get results. Too many of our players need to grow a pair. We’re desperately short on quality, no leaders, no winners. But I also think GC looks short on a game plan, from what I’m watching, I don’t know what we’re good at??

Losing at home, we've become very good at that this season.

It reminded me a bit of when Phil bater was in charge, lots of passion but way too nieve.

I wouldn’t extrapolate that we have a bad dressing room the same like in 2011. I think these lot are primadonnas and snowflakes rather than just having a bad attitude.

Do you want him to come out and say they played well??? Don't know what he was supposed to say really lol. Unlike is, they won't only hear that interview, he will talk to them 1 on 1. Might give them the gentle kick up the backside they need. If they like it here, they won't want to be one of the player's that are moved on. We're all exaggerating, it wasn't that bad. Gas_Quarters will tell you that. He wasn't at the game but can tell you all about how we are exaggerating how poor the performance was. Ooh I’ve never been tagged before. Maybe I picked a bad game to pull you up on it for as it sounds as though we were horrific so my apologies for that. However I was making the point that I read on here probably at least 5 times per season that “that is the worst I’ve ever seen us play” when realistically it isn’t always that bad is it?

Need actions now because that team is taking us down, rather see Luke Russe out there 100 % effort should be a given.

Thought GC was spot all the players played ****ing awful, back to their bad old ways, they all tend to think they are special (which they definitely are not), his job is on the line, needs to bring in a number of players asap, Sercombe will start if fit on Tuesday, rest could not complain if any one of them were dropped. If anybody thinks that performance was ok then they are only kidding themselves, and if that level of performance continues then BRFC will be relegated at the end of the season. If that level of performance continues we will be relegated by Easter! That was a must win game yesterday with the tough run of fixtures coming up, although you wouldn’t believe it with that shambles of a performance. We are desperate for at least a couple of signings this week, or take the brace position and kiss our asses goodbye! We'd been unbeaten in 5 - can't see why it was a must win. It was a very very poor game and probably a draw was a fair result. What was really depressing was that it was another game where we didn't score in front of a good crowd and didn't really look like scoring. Here's hoping at least 1 new forward comes in before Posh game. Let's stay behind the team.

New manager.
Promotion form. Great team spirit. Good relationship with owners. Fans unite behind manager. Relegation form. Team looking like a bunch of wasters. Explosive press conference. Fans unite against manager.
It took DC four years to get to that stage.
GC has managed it in four weeks.

This team we have screams relegation struggle next season to avoid non league football again. Its been there for all of us to see this season.
Massive rebuild required next season with decent backing from the owners but whats more likely is a huge budget cut and a relegation battle. Chesterfield = rovers except they have a lovely ground.

What is the shortest tenure of a Rovers boss? Not counting caretaker managers, Dobson was in post for 12 games and Penny had 13.

I wish we'd at least brought in someone experienced to work with him, we so needs a fresh set of eyes and some new blood on the playing side too.
