If you're all thinking of going to the semi and final then I hope we get knocked out tonight.
Probably the most desirable final for the lowest attendance is bury v man city u21.

On BRFC twitter account...." A reminder that tonight's game isn't covered on your season tickets and we advise arriving in good time to avoid the queues!!!!!!!!!'
The only big turn out tonight will be our Chairman evacuating his bowels before the game.

If we win tonight what crowd will we get for the semis if we are drawn at home? I guess 5-7k and if we make the final we will only take 20/25k this time. More likely between 10/15k I think.

I for one could not give a toss if we get knocked out tonight, i would rather our players concentrate on fighting our relegation battle rather than this devalued competition' and if we do get to final the money earned will only be swallowed up by owners and not invested in team, i am not that confident of the result anyway as they have held the upper hand over us in the last 25 years and if we play like we did Saturday it will be Goodnight Irene !

I fear we’ve got too many of the kind of player who will be desperate to show what they’re capable of at Wembley whilst not really giving enough of a sh** in the league games that will keep us up or relegate us.

I hope the boys win tonight for the sake of prize money to add to the budget. And I hope they play superbly to gain some confidence for our league fixtures.
But I hope that all happens in front of a crowd of 37 (with 21 from Port Vale).

Think a few are overthinking this tweet, they just mean that as you can’t pay on the turnstiles anymore don’t turn up at kick off and expect to walk straight in.
Could always do what anyone with a bit of sense is doing and boycott this sneaky attempt at introducing B teams into the league.
In a few seasons time if we’re playing the shits under 21’s in league 2 at least I’ll be safe in the knowledge I didn’t condone or encourage the big wigs by giving my £ support to the idea.
Would I like us to win the silverware? Yes. Would I ever attend a game while u21 sides are included in the tournament? No.

Would you want the man City kids to go out now or make the final so at least half of Wembley is empty?

It feels like it would be classic Rovers to win the under 21s cup only to get relegated a few weeks later.
My only exoectation tonight is that we use the game to try and sort out what we should be doing on Saturdays.

Would you want the man City kids to go out now or make the final so at least half of Wembley is empty? If one of the under 21 sides wins it that validates the whole idea by showimg that under 21 top tier sides are a match for the lower league teams. The sooner these sides are all eliminated the sooner you can point to them not adding anything to the competition and rule out their participation in future seasons.

Good night all round. A few goals, a not bad performance, a Tom Nicholls goal and a decent atmosphere with just two sides open.
