I guess the scouting part of Dutton's job ended almost before it started with the new Head of Recruitment charged with setting up and overseeing a scouting network.

Wouldn’t have done any harm to watch some of the Asian cup games, there was some decent talent on show, especially some of the younger players who dream of getting a chance to play in Europe.

Some cracking realistic players abroad that would improve us. Manuel Fischnaller (Catanzaro), Manuel Farrona Pulido (VfL Osnabruck), Sebastian Klaas (VfL Osnabruck), Aldin Turkes (Rapperswil-Jona), Rufat Dadashov (Prussian Munster), Valmir Suljemani (Waldorf Mannheim), Marcus Mendler (Saarbrucken), Accursio Bentivegna (Carrarese), Alessandro Mastalli (Juve Stabia), Luigi Canotto (Juve Stabia), Alessio Miceli (Feralpisalo), Nick Brisevac (Eintracht Norderstedt), Aitor Bunuel (Racing Santander), Juanjo Nieto (Hercules), Juho Hyvarinen (RoPS), Andrew Lyons (Bohemians), Israel Puerto (CD Mirandes), Robert Gucher (Pisa), Willi Evseev (Hansa Rostock), Sigurdur Egill Larusson (Valur), Mirza Halvadzic (Mjallby AIF), Yacine Qasmi (UD Melilla), Marvin Pourie (Karlsruher), Jari Vandeputte (Viterbese), Sascha Bigalke (Unterhaching). I saw French championaat national (3rd division) team Usl Dunkerque in November they had two players that caught my eye, were really good. Paul Arnold Garita (striker) and Jeremy Huysman (defender). Not saying I'm any expert but both were very good and I'm guessing won't be getting paid anywhere near what our third tier players get. The Garita guy briefly played for the 82 from what Ive read elsewhere, we won't hold it against him too much, but anyway was impressive. I'm sure someone well tell me I haven't got a clue or something but I did at least see these guys playing in the flesh. All games in The championaat national are free to stream off the league website, sure it could be watched to look out for promising players

Another great window using overseas recruitment. A statement needs to be made why we employ someone for overseas recruitment and so far not one overseas player other than that Jordanian I believe Mo Baghdadi comes from foreign climes

Apparently struggling to find any quality in the Maldives but will continue the search for another month or two. He looked at one or two but quickly realised they were divers.
