I've been convinced! Cycled up to Yate and enjoying a pie and pint in Chipping Sodbury. What's the clubhouse like at the ground?

And also watching... Liverpool U18 v Man Utd U18 U18 Premier League Cup 11:00, MUTV/LFCTV Accrington Stanley v Derby County FA Cup 4th Round 12:30, BT Sport 2 Bury v Lincoln City League Two 17:30, Sky Sports Football AFC Wimbledon v West Ham FA Cup 4th Round 19:45, BT Sport 2 Pirate, you are probably the only person on here allowed to watch a younger age group team from a Premier League club. Anyone else would be accused of selling their soul to the Devil. Good game of football. Finished 3-2 to Man Utd. The front two for Liverpool, Duncan and Glatzel, are a real handful and Man Utd's star man Mason Greenwood scored a couple of excellent free kicks. Impressed with the big Liverpool centre backs of Rhys Williams and Morgan Boyes until Boyes was sent off for bringing down someone as the last man. Man Utd left back Brandon Williams and central midfielder James Garner impressed and the same for Liverpool wideman Luis Longstaff. An enjoyable watch.

Yate team news. Absolutely no idea. Thatchers £3.30. Looking at previous attendances looks like a decent crowd today. Probably a few Teds here as well. To be fair I have a bit of time for those who support local teams rather than the plastic prem. Only suspect this as someone has just belted out one line of Irene to someone in the bar who wasn't going to join in

Missed a cracking game!
4 goals, 3 red cards in front of our biggest attendance of 390.
Yate maintain their promotion push with a 3-1 win a sit joint top with Moneyfields.
Thanks to any gas heads that came down, hope to see you more often when you aren’t attending rovers home or away!

Eveshams no 9 was lively for first 15 mins and no 7 had a good 2nd half. Yate seemed organised but no one really stood out. Nice to be able to have a pint on the sidelines. Burgers, sufficient

Think it was the Evesham branch of gasheads singing it. Probably a couple of our lot getting their Saturday afternoon fix of football

Burgers, sufficient Yes, we don’t really have a stand out player but we are a well drilled organised team who play for each other and made key signings in the summer! We are overachieving this season, based on our budget of a mid table side! Our manager Polly is doing a cracking job, was involved with Rovers youth sides for a very long time

I see our loanee Lewis Leigh-Gilchrist scored a hat-trick today for Yate away at Highworth Town. Well done Lewis! Lewis is different class, and very surprised he hasnt had a look in the Rovers first team squad yet! 5 goals in two games, just hoping we can get his loan extended till the end of the season as he will win us the league!

I see he was at Truro in the National League South earlier in the season, so surprised he's gone back to Yate. Still if he's scoring goals and helps you get promoted it can only be good for all!

Here are Lewis’s goals from Saturday, his first one is a real peach showing great ability to use both feet.
