The most points a clubs gone down with from league 1 is Torquay with 51 points so 50 for us if we can maintain our decent goal difference too would 98 % keep us up I’d say. I’d obviously rather we got 52 to be 100% sure though

Just saying.

Looking at our remaining fixtures I can only see us getting to 49 points we have too many hard games and too many at grounds where we usually struggle. Unless we get some wins on the board we are down draws are simply not good enough. Turn just one game you've forecast as a draw or loss into a win and it's 51 or 52 pts, you can't say we'll go down basically on one result you've forecast, plus 49 pts maybe enough this season given there's around 10 teams in the fight. I thought that was what I was saying, that's what the unless was about. Obviousely I hope we survive and a couple of wins can change the whole outlook. Here's hoping UTG.

I'm actually happier we've got some tougher games coming up. We seem to struggle in these six pointers, particularly at home where sides sit back and frustrate us. Teams like Charlton, Sunderland, Blackpool, and Barnsley coming to the Mem may suit us, as we're far better on the counter where we have more space and can use our pace.

Accrington, without a goal this year, are deservedly 1-0 at Sunderland, who really seem to have blown up.

Excellent performance from Accrington. Got some really impressive players. I watched with my Sunderland supporter mate. He still doesn't get it about the risk of B teams in the league based on his comments about looking forward to Wembley and them taking 40k plus should they get there. I tried to explain, but it was not sinking in as he still doesn't see his team being in League 1 long, despite the result tonight. Smyth for Accrington looked really good until he went off injured. There was a spell when Sunderland really upped it and scored their two goals. Sunderland played McGeady and Gooch (I think) on the left and right wings, but are right and left footed respectively. A bit odd, if they do that against us we'll have to be aware of them always wanting to cut back inside onto their favoured foot.

I thought he was an impressive signing when they took him on loan from QPR and I would've gladly had him here. The big lad at the back, Sykes, also performed well and only 19. I also like the right back Johnson, McConville, Kee and Barlaser for them. As for Sunderland, McGeady is obviously a quality player and a tricky customer, but their defence is very suspect and can definitely be got at.

Looks like we have the toughest games to play based on league positions. Barnsley last match at home not good as chances are that they may need the points for automatic promotion. Remember Millwall last match last season? Oxford seem to have an easier run in; same for Gillingham. We need to bag the points now!

Excellent performance from Accrington. Got some really impressive players. No way they're going down, one of the best sides at The Mem this season. They've got loads of games in hand. expect them to finish mid table.

Great graph, I like that. Although massively surprised to see Oxford, currently 22nd, are only 15% likely to go down. I wouldn't say their fixtures are any better than the likes of Rochdale, Gills or Shrews...
