Some have indicated the yellow 3rd shirt would be a good seller, but as yet it is not available for sale.
So the question is would you buy one if the shirt was put on sale by the club?

I don't wear replica shirts. I'd feel a bit silly in one, like a little boy in a Batman outfit.

It's a bit too plain for me and this is why the club can't please everyone with the kit choices. I can't justify spending £40-50 on a plain yellow football shirt. But last season, black and purple stripes, now that's not something you see every day. Take my £50 Rovers!!

So far this season P2 W1 D1 in yellow + plenty of historic wins in yellow as well. Still......you pays your money and you takes your choice.

Hahahahaha! Illustrates my point perfectly. Although I'm sure the footy world would be a duller place without fans in their strips.

Interesting opinions and votes so far. I'll let the poll run as long as the last one (on the 1883 Polo shirts) to get some sort of comparative data.

Any chance of us getting a vote on next year's away kit this time?

I don't buy shirts personally but I don't see why the club wouldn't trial a small number of this shirt in the shop? Seems to be relatively popular among a number of fans (although the poll says otherwise, I've heard quite a few people talking about it and wanting to buy it).

Any chance of us getting a vote on next year's away kit this time? I'd suggest setting up a poll on here and the other place to gather opinions. Whether the club take note is up to them, but it would be a way of being inclusive. I would caution that fan polls can be hijacked www.themag.co.uk/the-mag-articles/mackems-try-to-hijack-pardew-poll/

I would've had to make a decision on which away shirt to buy at the start of the season if both were on sale, and most likely I would have bought the white one anyway....
it would be commercial suicide to release the yellow shirt now as anyone who wants a shirt would already have one....
edit: I saw our mascot was given a yellow shirt at Aldershot.... that'll be a nice item to keep hold of, lucky ****.....

Poll Results are in. As the same question was polled on gasheads.org I have aggregated the results, but for those interested the results were very nearly identical on both of the fora.
In answer to the question: Would you buy the yellow 3rd shirt if it was available?
Total votes cast 65
Yes: 23 (35.4%) No: 42 (64.6%)
Compared with the previous poll on the 1883 branded polo shirt. Less people voted (65 vs 96) and the general response was less favourable (35% vs 59%) with an indication that they would/might purchase.
