We're completely capable of getting a draw if we play like we did on Tuesday. Remember we were in disarray when we last played Sunderland and it was still only 2-1.

Any news about ticket sales ? Are we going to get our first 10k gate of the season ? Surely that's almost guaranteed anyway if Sunderland have sold out of their allocation?

A 4 nil victory like 1987 (?) when Sunderland were romping the third division - after Armstrong broke Hibbitt's leg with a disgraceful challenge we tore them to pieces.

Thought that was for the Checkatrade game, league games they don't get so many, although not sure why the club didn't make special arrangements for this one game, seems madness turning away 1,000+ away fans when the ground will probably be 2.000+ under capacity.

Thought I read somewhere.. they were getting more allocation but yeah maybe it was the cup game 🙄

I still haven't found how to see a match of the Gas this season. Sometimes there is a league one broadcasted on a stream, but no Gas yet. And no match this week once again.
I don't loose hope of seeing one before the end of the season.
We Bordeaux bought Josh Maja which i saw yesterday in Ligue un. He's young but looks interesting for his age.
Interesting move for him too.
The last English playing for Bordeaux was Clive Allen.

Special arrangements? For example, I feel quite sure everyone on the North terrace would be only too willing to give their places up for Sunderland supporters and quite happily cram in to the dribuild and West terraces for the privilage. Seriously it's just another consequence of our crap ground and will continue to be until if and when we redevelop or move.

That was a strange move all round, probably down to some more dodgy goings on with football agents rather than Maja wanting to try his luck in the French League.

Last year Sancho was going to Dortmund from Man City for 8M£.
For some it was strange; now he is an international and valued around 60m£ ! This is the same kind of a move, eventually.
I thought of this first and as you spoke of agents i went seeing, and they both are represented by the same agents; who represent some of the best Anglo Nigerian young players in England, France and elsewhere.
Iwobi, Lookman, Nelson, too.
Maja was reported transfered for 1,7M£.

Looking at the tickets still left for sale there only seems a few hundred left on the East Terrace & Family Terrace.

Thought it was more like £3m that's where Sunderland then got most of the £4m from to buy Wigan's Griggs.

Only about 1600 tickets left from the looks of it.
