It's free beer! It's free pies! It's free football! What's not to like! Well seeing how we usually play... the football? In all seriousness it's a great effort from the club IMO, they seem to have got a lot better this year with communications and small bits like this, some people will never be happy but for a free extra then it's a great idea for me. Now I've just gotta remember when I bought my ST! It was after Mansfield (plus a few extra days of avoiding all interaction with anyone) but I believe there was an email to again advertise after Mansfield about purchasing before a date to get these incentives.

I applied before the Mansfield game too, so maybe I will get some.. Anyone who applied after Mansfield should be given a knighthood, never mind a free pie.

What a great offer from the club. Well done to the board and in particular Toni Watola who would have had most say in this deal. Credit where it's due...Well done Rovers.
I think we can all see little shoots of recovery in most departments at the club. UTG

Ian Hislop said he was a banana.

great gesture, but i'm a little confused to how waiting a few weeks to buy my season tickets excludes me from this promotion....
as far as I can tell, rewarding people for their 'loyalty' seems a pretty strange statement, as I bought a season ticket to watch conference football, which in my book is pretty damned 'loyal', but alas, I get nothing....

I can see where you're coming from with this. There would only have been any logic in rewarding the "early birds" if we'd retained our league status, as they took a leap of faith. Given how things panned out - it should apply to all those who have shelled out for a season ticket for non-league football.

We just weren't loyal enough mate. exactly how I feel to be honest.... been a fan for 30 years, go to 8/10 away games a year, scrimp like crazy to buy a season ticket (yet again) and I don't fit in to the criteria for rewarding loyal fans.... it's a great gesture for sure, but I don't think much thought has been put in to how some season ticket holders might actually find it a bit offensive....
