If that game was an example of a Team fighting against relegation then It would appear as though they have already given up.

Today the team and us fans seemed to except our fate... Were nearing the worst ever home record for the club... Evolution my arse!!

What bothers me is not that we only got 1 point from the last 2 games ( before the season I would have probably accepted that ) but the fact we cannot figure a way to win games at home against the likes of Shrewsbury, Burton, Wycombe, Accrington etc. We have not played well this season , but apart from Doncaster, who probably scored with every shot, no one have ripped us apart, so we have not had the ability to win against bog standard L1 outfits. I think the players are good enough to keep us up, but whether they are playing anywhere near their potential, so that we stay up, then no I don't think so. I hope I'm wrong, but it feels like a relegation season.

I think we’ll be down...gone of the exciting wing play and natural goal scorers and playing out from the back...we have no pattern of play and the replacements of the players left are nowhere near the standard yet these players are on more money than the previous better players!
Clarke Harris isn’t the answer and gives Lockyer and Craig more of a reason to thump the ball to the opposition...
If there’s a chance of heading the ball to the opposition the players seem to choose that rather than getting it down and play football We’ve turned into a boring team to watch with no ideas of creating anything.. Wouldn’t be so bad if we created a lot but couldn’t score but we just can’t create much to give anyone a chance. When bonham goes we’re even more in the sh** as we would be bottom of the league if so... GC is sounding more like DC in interviews already...bottom line is we aren’t good enough from defence/midfield/attack. Why didn’t we get a good left winger in? Why do we waste our best centre midfielder there that has proven to score goals there... I’d rather have montano back there

Afraid to say I think we will go down. Nine defeats at home already. That is relegation form. We still have a number of top teams to play too.

Home form has been poor all season, we don't even look like scoring, I can only see this season ending up in relegation, were very poor and predictable, nothing to excite the fans.

The table does not lie, we are where we are because we have no quality and our recruitment was bad! We could have Alex Ferguson in charge but still go down. The board have made a mistake giving GC a two and a your contract. I do not question his passion but he is tactically inept. So alex ferguson was also tactically inept then? Was coughlan inept at portsmouth and southend?

I don't know what to think tbh. It's easy to be disheartened after today but I came away from Tues night feeling confident we'll stay up. I think regardless of what happens, it is going to the wire. Exactly my feelings. Others are playing worse than us perhaps but they get a win and three points. We are struggling for wins. Posh, Shrewsbury and Pompey we should have held on for the extra two points but we didn’t. We’ve done ok and I don’t think today will be defining but we need to get goals and hold on for a win and that’s proving difficult at the moment. I’d rather be in our position than AFCW and Rochdale but I’d rather be in Shrewsbury’s and Oxfords position than ours. Youre right GGMI it’s going to the wire. UTG!

I think only regular away supporters can feel any optimism. We have been truly dreadful at home with only the portsmouth home defeat and the draw against peterbro being decent performances. For me all the other home games including the wins we looked weaker than our opponents.

I just don't get the psychology of why we can be so good away from home and so bad on our turf. If its the pressure to meet expectations then it would suggest a real weakness in the squad that needs to be purged at the earliest possibility.
For me our most obvious problem is that we don't score enough goals both home and away. From what I've seen the strike force I would go forward with is JCH and Reilly but even this doesn't convince me it will be a free scoring attack that will solve all our woes. Another change I would make is to put THD at LW, Sercombe in the middle and Kelly at LB. I think O Clarke and Ogogo are both good midfielders but I wouldn't start them alongside each other especially not at home home, It just lacks impetus and creativity as seen today.
We've not really been played off the park too many times this season, Doncaster at home and Luton away aside, we've just been losing the narrow games where it could of gone either way and drawing games we should have won. Again this comes down to chance conversion and not taking games by the scruff of the neck. We look tentative and lacking ideas in most matches that I have seen at the mem so far and we really need to find an answer to this as quick as possible.
Do I think we will go down? That all depends on our form, If GC learns from his mistake of going too defensive at home and we string a run of results together like we did at Christmas, we can beat the drop. Continue to play like we did today and lose/draw the key games at home, then sadly I can only see relegation. It's been a real Jekyll and Hyde kind of season with a few really promising games getting lost in a wave of mediocrity that has seen us languishing near the foot of the table.
I've seen worse Rovers teams but I've seen ones that are an awful lot better than the current squad, that's for sure.

Her in doors said last October that we will be mentally relegated by January and confirmed in reality by April.
I will pray the 538 prediction is right.

I think if we lose Saturday and teams above us extend the gap we probably won’t recover. However if we win it then it might kick start a good run of home form just in the nick of time. I never thought our home form would be the reason we’d ever get relegated. Worst season for a season ticket holder who can’t go to many away games.

I think psychologically alone, it is absolutely massive we don't lose Saturday. We really do need to win but another home defeat would kill us I think.

We will be in serious trouble of we lose on Saturday. for me Rochdale, Gillingham, Coventry, Wimbledon and Bradford games are all winnable. That's 15 points, 18 if we could beat Blackpool
