I’m not going for the reasons mentioned but no doubt there will be massive suupport for Poland. Wouldn’t be surprised if it kicked off between them and the 82ers there..

Actually a few Gas going from work. They're all Polish! Great lads.
Don't worry, they've been briefed not to pull the flush...

I've got a free ticket so I'll be going. Looking forward to a good game. Got a few Rovers stickers I'll be taking along with me too.

Pirate, what are your thoughts on Courtney Senior at Colchester? Looks a promising young winger but only seen brief highlights this season.

Don't see a problem with anybody going to Ashton Gate to watch an international game. I expect that quite a few Gasheads telling people not to go to a football match at that venue, have been and may well be going to some concert or other at the same stadium and will conveniently not mention that This Gashead hopes all attending enjoy a good night out. UTG!

I don’t even like being that side of Bristol, let alone step inside the place. It gives me that sickly feeling. Have only ever been 3 times though, all with Rovers. I have zero interest otherwise, like many others I wouldnt give them a penny.
Myself & a few other Gas are at Wembley Friday night, the 21’s and stars of the future can be viewed on the box somewhere.

Can remember attending a number of under 23 games in the sixties at Ashton Gate including England v Wales. Also a Football league game v Irish league at Eastville. This side always included many full internationals and sometimes a local player or two. Trying my hardest to remember if any Rovers/City player was in the side that night. Can remember it was a very high scoring game, not surprising considering the opposition. Just checked, match was in 1961, result 5-2 to England.

If you're going, well done for helping to widen the gap between us.

Eadie, one of a number of West Country lads picked up by Norwich and their scout in the region, Richard Everson (who would later become our chief scout under Holloway). Eadie was actually a Rovers fan as a youngster.
