We weren’t really. Ollie got us playing some good football, the board didn’t back him 100% and we fell away. No investment was made in the stadia side of things either. Probably the best chance we ever had of getting to the championship with the facilities we had and making something of it. Hmmm. Ollie not backed ? In the grand scale of Rovers history I'd say he was backed a lot - Halyes, Ellington, Roberts, Astafjevs and probably others. I think Ollie pushed the board as much as he could for signings - he just lost his nerve and thus we flopped badly in those last 10 games. He earned that right by selling them at big profits though. I think the point is that he wasn't backed at the moment we and he needed it most, bringing in two youth players when one experienced head in midfield to replace the injured Ronnie Mauge may well have done the trick and secured that promotion that we were nailed on for.

Following on from yesterday's result, there was no new manager bounce and Yeovile are now above the final relegation spot on GD only.
What a shame!
Horrible little tin pot club with no fans who should be no higher than the National League.
If they do go down, I wonder if they'll remove those 3 ridiculous stars denoting 15 years league membership from their badge.

You banned kylegas for similar use your noggin Is this all because someone said that people who criticise DC are scumbags? Not even remotely similar to kylegas. I think you must be having a bad day, and I think you need a hug. I've delegated hugging duties to Bolders. Ideal if your definition of being comforted includes having a very sore arse after!

What amazed me was the new guy was even more depressing to listen to post-match than Darren Way.
I genuinely didn’t think that was possible.

Hopefully we secure our status so I can get a sign made as I reckon Yeovil will go down!
Could be worse, could support Yeovil town. #nonleague #canyoucomebackatthefirstattempt

I'd say just don't get it made full stop. The guy that did it was a pathetic sadcase. Why stoop to his level?

Interesting 3 way scrap in league 2 between Macclesfield, Yeovil and Notts County to decide who gets relegated. Too close to call.
Wasn’t that long ago that it was us in that position, so thankful for where we are now, going out of the league is the worst thing that can happen to any football club.

If Sol Campbell keeps Macclesfield up he's performed a minor miracle. Doing a fantastic job either way.

Yeovil v Crawley on Saturday, if Yeovil managed to win that Crawley (with 4 defeats already on the trot) could make it a 4 way scrap, as it's Crawley V Notts C on Ester Monday.

To be honest I'd quite like Crawley to go down. It only seems a matter of time as their bubble burst a while ago and I never liked them when they first came up under Steve Evans.

Yeovil’s remaining games are:
Crawley H Crewe A Colchester H Northampton A Carlisle H
I can see them barely gaining 3 more points out of that list. Their next two fixtures really are crucial.

Only ground worse than ours!!!! Even that’s debatable. Indeed Moss Rose isn't actually that bad, got a decent modern looking stand along one side. Blundell Park is pretty rough around the edges. All seater but 3 of the stands are very old and borderline dilapidated.
