They will not due until yesterday and we had 9 months to get them ready. So I can't see how we would have missed the deadline. I hope you are correct because bad news is not what this club needs at the moment I'm sure somebody will come along soon to put this rumor to bed
I'm hoping we will get some good news very soon about the Stadium Project and the club moving forward So you start a rumour then hope somebody will give you an answer on an unofficial club forum, good luck with that one!

In my experience things take a while to show up on the companies house website. Does it state accounts overdue? I would have thought that the accounts had to be approved at an AGM before submission and as far as I know there hasn’t been an AGM.

No. They have to be approved by the Board and signed by a Director on behalf of that Board.

No. They have to be approved by the Board and signed by a Director on behalf of that Board. But then approved at the AGM, otherwise an AGM would be fairly meaningless, although seeing this years account's is the main issue at present.

No. A company is not required to hold an AGM unless the Articles of Association say it must. Shareholders no longer have any role in approving Accounts.

Should we be worried? From last years post at Companies House The Accounts to June 2017 Cash: £9,360 Net Worth: £-10,167,423 Assets: £677.1k Liabilities: £13.3M
We need an update - those figures were bad enough and the continuence of the Company relied on the support of the Al-Quadi family do we still have that support? and are we still solvent? The up-dated Accounts which are late at Companies House should give us a clue - what say you Swissgas? (our very own expert) I have also been told that the club are late in submitting the End of year accounts to the Govt, if TRUE then this a very serious issue. I've ALWAYS been told by my accountant that never ever miss your submission date or large fines will closely follow I'm just beginning to worry now that the club will be deemed insolvent with very poor accounts..... I'm hoping all this is just rumors put out by people who should know better but when you are told that the Grass growing lighting system cost £40,000 and purchased on the never never you start to feel a bit jumpy PLEASE PLEASE somebody confirm this is not true ! Grass growing lighting system? Other clubs rely on a thing called daylight. I know Horfield isn't that sunny, but I would think the turf just about copes without getting a Wonga loan for additional photons.

My understanding is that the audited accounts may have been received back from the Accountants BUT the Directors do NOT want to publish these at the moment.
I could be wrong, but have the feeling that they hope a takeover will take place shortly and the current custodians hope to kick this down the road for any new incumbents.
The financial year ends on 30th June each year, so I must assume that the AGM for 2017/18 must take place before 30th June 2019.

"Usually the meeting is used for matters which must be dealt with each financial year, such as the re-election of directors, fixing the remuneration of auditors and consideration of the annual accounts, directors’ report and auditors’ report." The above is from Thomson Reuters, "consideration" is as good as approved for most layman on the forum, as we're never going to be able to object given the club is mainly owned by DS.

Consideration is not the same as approval. Hence whether it's 'as good as' is irrelevant as well as wrong in law. It's quite simple - the Board of Directors have to approve the Accounts.

If an AGM is required by the Articles of Association it has to be held, for a private company not traded on the stock exchange, within 9 months of the date for filing accounts, ie by 31.12.19.

They dont have to have an AGM as a private co unless stated anywhere in articles of association They own 92% of the club so in some respects an AGM is irrelevant. Any business to be voted on would be passed by them on their shareholding The accounts will have to be submitted and published on companies house as public record Confirmation statement is now online. Likely the accounts are submitted and awaiting to be uploaded

Although is the potential sale suggestion just another rumour being put about and is not the real reason for the delay in the results being published.
