I met Wael's Dad and Mum when they visited the Mem his Mum had a huge diamond ring on her finger, it would have probably bought us a new stand!. The thing is his Dad is the one with the money and I doubt either of his parents have much interest league 1 football, and would be unlikely to put money into building a new stadium unless it is part of a much larger complex with perhaps a hotel and conference centre which would bring them a profit. Why would they want to put money into a loss making stadium. They brought in experts from Wembley and had a feasibility study carried out, UWE design in is present form wasn't feasible and eventually the AQ'S Pulled out, so they aren't going to make that mistake again. Wael bought in TG and have tried to cut losses, it could take years for Wael to find a site, get planning and find investment to build the sort of stadium complex he wants. 50 Acres down on the Avonmouth development site next to the new motorway junction is available to our owners if we want to build a new stadium/hotel/conference facility. i don't think they want to and are looking to get out

What a stupid post ! If you can’t be bothered to trawl back through previous posts to see why I’ve said what I’ve said then don’t comment on my replies to Henbury. To be fair If you are getting offended on somebody else’s behalf and you genuinely think that me calling another poster a sh** stirring wum is an insult then perhaps a forum isn’t the best place for you , and yes if you’d rather me say this to you in person I would happily oblige. No thanks, but we can still be forum buddies. Always forum buddies 👍

They woy have a lot better chance of selling the club then!! Maybe they don't want that site, as they have found a better one. Or maybe they are looking into it. Did you know about Uwe, before it was announced?? There are some things people have to keep quiet about. I have heard a few locations branded about and rumours about what will happen to the mem. Won't believe any of them, until they are announced though. Won't believe anything will be built, until I'm sat in it lol. Think I've heard enough, to suggest that they are still looking into things though. But I never expected to hear anything, until atleast a year from now.

Daniel, as per usual he did an interview. Different to letting fans have the chance to ask questions. Like the questions would have been that different. Stuff I wasn't to know, I tend to ask anyway. Why do you need a radio phone in??? To engage with the fans. Wael’s letter to season ticket holders last season said communication would be improving, What better way and the perfect platform. He doesn’t have to attend, send the Chairman or CEO. They must get paid a decent wage. What does the CEO’s role involve? Is he working on plan B?

Henbury Gas and Knowall, you are both singing from same hymn sheet it would seem. How not too distant are we talking; Next week, the next month, six months? What Americans are we expecting? If you know so much, you might as well post it, I think people are a bit fed up of cryptic messages. If it was confidential, then how did you find out, who is your source? Count me in as well. I believe what Knowall is saying. Let's hope there is good news BEFORE the AGM. If the news is that the grass has been laid and that TV is up a year later after it was intended, then I wont be too impressed!

We narrowly escaped relegation this season, spending even less on the playing budget would probably guarantee us relegation next season, it's nonsense to suggest they could easily spend less (apart from on the London office!). Coventry City player budget for last season was the money they received from the sale of their star striker from their promotion season . They landed up well clear of us on a lot lower budget as did Blackpool and probably a few more clubs so I suppose if you have a half decent manager who spends his transfer money wisely then Rovers could do better next season on a lower budget, it not just down to money but good management of funds. I think DC showed us that team spirit also goes a long way. We had a squad that was so tight knit and who truly showed desire. We seem to be lacking in that now and I’d say that our managers job is to get the players back to feeling that way. I will never forget the scenes at Wembley, when the winning penalty was scored. The eruption of joy from all team members was joyous to watch & I re play that at times. There is no room for anyone who feels superior.
