Or there could be a perfectly reasonable explanation akin to the many which have already been suggested. Not everything is a conspiracy. Why is a rumour a conspiracy? Not sure anybody has given a plausible explanation why filing the accounts is overdue for the first time ever(?). They may not have been filed late And if they are/have it may be down to the accountants As for the AGM, as i stated above by my search the football club mentions an AGM, however no such mention in the articles I could see in 1883ltd of which the share are in

No one actually knows the accounts have been filed late. They've not been uploaded on to the HMRC website, so either the HMRC are slow at uploading them or we've not submitted them on time, I'd put my money on the latter given they are now 3(?) days late, how about you?

I sense you're clutching at straws with that one. The AGM is just a side show compared to seeing the annual accounts.

Crikey, i have even said on this thread myself late filing has happened to the company I work for, because of Deloitte no less But how big is your company one with just a £6m or so turnover or one far bigger? Plus is there any chance the company had "issues" at the time? As far as I'm aware small companies like BRFC1883 usually submit their accounts on time if their are no concerns. Out of interest why do you post on Gaschat that talk of a takeover is nonsense but somewhat differently on the forum you moderate, where you seem quite content to accept the takeover talk might have some mileage? Here's your post from earlier today: "If there is/was/maybe a takeover how is Wael going to stop it exactly? He is only 25% of Dwane Sport" Read more: gasheads.org/user/16/recent#ixzz5k3wEf9w5

I (as someone working in accounts) have simply given my experiences as to how and/or why something may or mot have happened, and I am far from the only one on this thread. Maybe there is a takeover. Not sure how Wael can stop that of the rest of Dwane want to sell and any late filing of accounts SHOULD have no impact whatsoever as explained by myself in this thread

The credit reference agencies have picked up on the late filing. We received an alert today regarding Bristol Rovers 1883 ltd’s Credit score. It was dated the 01/04/2019 so my guess is late filing triggers an affect on the credit score.

Maybe Severncider 'knows' something. Did he corner Steve Hamer in a lift by any chance?
He also talked some rubbish which was used to bolster his point, easily debunked by anyone with any knowledge

It is a worry but I try to ignore it. The relegation scrap we’re in comes first and foremost and worrying about things we can’t see or do anything about just isn’t worth it.I’d love it if a new group bought the club and gave us everything we want but it’s never happened before so I won’t hold my breathe and just keep supporting the team.Just like everyone used to do before the days of social media and everyone now wanting to know the ins and outs of a cats arrsse!

The credit reference agencies pick up on all matters that may indicate issues with a company's credit. Filing late may not always be an issue, it may simply have been overlooked. However it puts companies/banks/debt funders on note that there may be an issue. It will advise them to beware and/or contact the company filing late. Filing may however sometimes be delayed prior to an announcement that may have an impact on shares. In this case i wouldn't think that likely as 1883 is a private limited company and not quoted or tradable.
