No he states the obvious which is he has no money but gets on with the job. And Peter, Tottenham announced the record ever premiership profit yesterday of £120 million and Pochettino would well be within his rights to ask for some of that last summer. I will also add look what happened to Arsenal paying off a new stadium but Wenger stayed and shut his mouth. It’s not a proper weird post Bacca, Rafa is the same position but gets on with it and beats teams like Man City at home this season, he knows his time will come. You sense DC just got disgruntled with the owners, we'll never know if that just led to him losing the plot or he constructed his own down fall to get s decent pay off, it'll be interesting to see where he pops up next and how well he does. PT's at Wembley on Sunday so he's doing all right post Rovers! "Constructed his own downfall" Some posts are just plain daft.

I think Topper has a good point, if you know you can’t do anymore subconsciously you can give up which takes it out of your hands.
I’m told DC was a guest of a Championship club recently.

I also think DC got his knickers in a twist over the progress off the field and it gradually ate away at him until he completely lost sight of anything else.

I think you will find this goes along as well with us having a mid table budget which is reported to what we have. I never got why DC kept throwing his toys out of the pram re budget, he delivered a bottom 4 side squad currently 3 points off relegation (thank god for Jonson) DC admitted he had a mid table budget before he left surely the fact we had such a budget was down to him putting pressure on the owners in the past to give him a decent budget? Like most managers at this level is time was probably up come the end. Luton this season & Shrewsbury last season (Burton in the past?) show it is possible to over achieve with a mid table budget. As did DC with his budget over the two previous seasons...

Understandable mind. If you feel that your boss has promised, or at the very least, suggested something that doesn't come to fruition, you're going to br frustrated, particularly when you've earned the right to that with your own performance over the last four years.

Topper I watched the Sean Dyche interview yesterday, Burnley made a record £40 million profit and they only spent £58 million on wages in the Premiership, one of the worst budgets. He just gets on with it as does Rafa Benitez and Pochettino not signing a player this summer. DC should have kept his mouth shut, signed a Jonson in January like Cogs and either left at the end of the season or built a new team around a Jonson. Darrell spent £160k on agents fees, 13th in the league but he never left us 13th. I think if he had calmed down he would have learned from this season, finished us around 13th and gone again next season. As Cogs said, the training ground isn’t much different to Sheffield Wednesday, DC had made the Mem the seasons before a fortress. Forget about the failed promises, do a Dyche or Rafa, head down and wait for the better job. He may now have no choice but take a Yeovil job or duff club like Ipswich whose fans again hate the owner. Welcome back. Strange that no one has liked your post. As I'm sure you realise, underneath, it's not as simple as saying DC had a 13th in the lge spend on agents, so we should be 13th. And obviously he didn't get the chance to get to the transfer window, so that comment alone just shows your agenda. Trg ground like Sheffield wed? You honestly must be joking if (a) that is true, and (b) GC really believes that. Yeovil? No. His next job will be lge 1.

MM so if DC hadn't let the issues in the back ground eat him up he could well have finished 13th or higher as Roady suggests? As it is we still need two win to survive in Div 1 this season.

Topper no one has liked your post!! I’ve necer once looked who likes my posts and my opinions MM don’t need to be liked either. He was a guest of a Championship club, 100% true and don’t bother asking how I know. What I would say is regardless of 13th budget, if Nichols, Payne and Bennett had 6 more goals between before DC left at the tune of £550,000 outlay and Bennett as one of our highest paid players he would have still been in a job. And to think of that £160k in 2018 the agents for Payne, Mensah and a lot of other crap got paid.

Time to move on, UTG

Get your facts right prick I was quoting the sh** off OTIB who have always called him that. I have been around since Bert Tann so know who is the best manager thank you. My comment was in response to Roady alluding to DC had been invited to Ashton which was old news as they had already stated he had been a guest there a long time ago

They’ve called him the dog botherer since we started to have success under him. I think it would be ironic if he ended up there though hasten to add I don’t think he will for 1 second as they seem to have a good assistant manager. The fact they’ve hated him on par with Pulis would mean they would have to try and backtrack inline with how they did with the snake to claim it was our loss and he always wanted to be at a real football club. Cant see anything wrong with any out of work manager watching other teams train to add to their experience and knowledge of how others managers work. It would never be as though he left us for them like the snake did. I also apologise for reacting so quickly
