A brilliant night, get all the facts Topper mate!.
He won the award which was voted by his fellow players. They see what he does for the team on the pitch, off it in the changing room and also in training.
A great night, well organised and 77 tables in attendance and them all full.
Well done Bristol Rovers tonight, well done Ollie Clarke and thank you Wael Al Qadi for spending so long talking to our table.

Well done Ollie , a much underrated player. An "underrated player" that has won a player of the year award that he should have been nowhere near?! Personally think loanee or not, Jack Bonham deserved it.

I don't know why people are so bothered. It's the players choice.
We will get a chance to vote for the 'right' person, just like the Presidents club vote and the young pirates vote

Not bothered just hard to comprehend when I saw it announced on twitter as did most fans responding to the tweet. The fact the players voted for it makes it even hard to work out, I guess he must look good in training!

Was a great night
Albeit spoiled by a couple of poorly mannered tables near to us who thought it was acceptable to have loud drunken conversations whilst the speaker was talking
Other than that well done all who organised another great event

Voted for by the players who have let's face it, have hardly made good decisions all season for one reason or other. No doubt the supporters vote will name our real player of the season. Either Bonham or James Clarke for me. UTG!

Very positive and upbeat and I wouldn’t repeat what he said if anything but to be honest he was very professional, you have to be in his position. I’ve known Wael for awhile now, he’s a decent guy and I believe the club is in safe hands with him. I think a lot of people in the near future will genuinely say fair play to the man. I invited a very prominent person from this forum last night who at times has been a critic of our board who had a good chat with Wael, say what you want he doesn’t hide from people.

I expect that his off the field work (which was also recognised for with a separate award) played a large part in it as well. It’s about the all round contribution to the club as well well as pitch performance. It goes far deeper than “who’s well liked in the dressing room”.

He’s always 1st at the bar and he gets the sausage rolls in, more money than sense I would say! James Clarke for me, closely followed by JCH even though he’s only played what 12 games? :Rammell mark 2:

It just doesn't sound right for a player who clearly wasn't our best player of the year, winning a player of the year award. To put it in to context, when I seen the 4 up for the award, he was the one that stood out for me as a definite not deserving to win it.
