Rochdale have the worst defence and GD in the division so think we'll win 34-0. Half time score?

Might be counting the goal difference, but have you seen how many Scunthorpe are behind us. That won't make that up with 2 wins. Yeah, Wimbledon have to play Wycombe so only one of those teams can get to 54. Scunthorpe and Accrington play Plymouth, so only two of those teams can get to 54. Southend, Walsall and Bradford can't get there. So even if everything goes as badly as it can it will look something like this: Scunthorpe 55 Accrington 54 Wycombe 54 Plymouth 53 Wimbledon 52 Southend Walsall Bradford And that's with all the mental results like Accrington beating Portsmouth and Doncaster, Plymouth beating Barnsley, Wimbledon beating Luton, and Scunthorpe beating Charlton. It's just not gonna happen. Just used the league predictor on the Fishy forum and it does seem the maximum that the 21st placed club can get is 52 pts, so it is correct if we win on Monday then we are safe.

Accy looking absolutely dreadful, even before their keeper was sent off. Luton should stroll this now. Accy, Plymouth & others looking right over their shoulders. Win Monday and the last two rounds of games this season will be a superb watch. Accy hope to have a new training ground for next season, Luton looking to build their new ground so they can get into the Premiership after getting pp meanwhile at Rovers.........

New training ground primed and ready for League 2 football. Best of luck to them. A good foundation for a club like that is essential to stay in the football league which is their minimum requirement. Accrington Stanley are a tiny club but they’re being run very well. We’re a pretty big club that isn’t being run very well hence we’re only a handful of points above them.

A loss on Monday means it will definitely go to the Fleetwood game.
A draw Monday and Southend and Walsall fail to win would mean a Wimbledon loss at Luton on Tuesday would make us safe on goal difference before the Fleetwood game.
A win Monday and Scunny fail to win or either of Wycombe or Plymouth lose we are safe.If all those results went against us them Wimbledon would need to win at Luton to stop us being safe before the Fleetwood game.
That O.Clarke goal on Saturday was the most important one of the season,so far!

Rovers are 200/1 to be relegated (Bet365) if anyone wants a bit of insurance.

A loss on Monday means it will definitely go to the Fleetwood game. Not really. If you accept we aren't going to be beat on goal difference, then if Plymouth, Scunthorpe, Southend and Walsall all lose, then we will be safe.

I'll give 1000-1 right now for anyone prepared to bung more than 100 quid on, and deliver it to me before kick off tomorrow.

Yes I didn’t factor in Plymouth play Scunthorpe in the last game of the season. In your scenario Walsall can’t catch us if they lose or draw on Monday.

Final day 2014 really was the worst experience but this is so far beyond that it’s ridiculous. We aren’t going down.

Anyone who has followed football for any length of time, children included would know that we can still get relegated. That said we are in a great position to make ourselves safe and doing it monday would be nice. Great goal by ollie clarke and he deserves credit for bouncing back from a difficult spell of poor form. Honestly, looking at the table and fixtures, it would take a really preposterous series of unlikely results to relegate us now. No one is even considering the possibility, except, of course, Gasheads. But we remember Wycscum and thinking it was done. I won’t be celebrating until we are definitely safe. As Greavsie said, it’s a funny old game and this is Rovers we are talking about

It's just not gonna happen. Yes, without going into ALL the permutations, it seems very very unlikely everyone is going to get maximum points because 1) some are playing each other - yes, that's the REALLY obvious one... 2) some are very sh** & on awful losing streaks, and 3) some are playing very good teams who still have a lot to play with. The weird one would be last game of the season - I would not like to be any club in that situation as strange things can happen, and some good teams may blood youngsters etc. The old cliché of flip flops / on holidays / loads of kids used in last 3 matches seems to happen less these days, partly due to playoffs, tight relegation issues and just how professional football is now. desire is the big unknown - can make quite a difference in last few games, although also do not discount the desire of fringe players to do well / take their chance / earn a contract etc. Look at Mansfield that game. I know we were a mixture of crap and unfortunate, but they also were definitely not in flip flops.

If results go right Monday, we can all breathe easy. No celebration, should never have got in this mess. Agreed.Never get having celebrations for staying up unless your the complete underdog since day one. For a club of our size and fanbase we should never have been in this position.Loved DC but something went badly wrong over the past 18 months at our club. With GC and the summer coming we must be aiming to challenge the playoffs next season. The state of the Mem and training ground is no excuse.

Our home gates are nothing special and the size of the club, in this century, is small. Lower League 1 is our current level, not some romantic stuff about challenging for the Championship like we did some decades ago. Staying in L1 is a success to me.
