Scunny Southend Walsall Bradford
With us staying up by 3 points on 51. The final point coming away to Fleetwood.

If Wimbledon don't beat Luton tomorrow, the only way we can be relegated is if Wimbledon win both of their remaining games and we lose both of ours. Even then, there are other teams.in the mix who could finish below us. You're probably right. This is the worst case scenario as far as I can see.
56 - Shrewsbury
54 - Wimbledon
54 - Accrington
53 - Southend 53 - Wycombe 53 - Plymouth ---------------
50 - Rovers 49 - Scunthorpe
If Wimbledon don't win at Luton tonight they will need to win their final 2 games to go above us. That said their final 2 games are very winnable and they have only lost 1 of their last 9 games. I wouldn't bet against them beating Wycombe and Bradford. It's certainly not impossible.
Most teams have winnable games but unless there is a massive swing in goal difference both Plymouth and Scunthorpe can't go above us. So that means we need to finish above at least 1 more.
50 - Bristol Rovers 50p: Fleetwood A: Barnsley H: 53 - Shrewsbury: 50p Coventry A: Walsall H: - Likely to lose at Coventry but beat Walsall 53 - Wycombe: 50p: Wimbledon A: Fleetwood H: - Likely to lose at Wimbledon but may beat a Fleetwood side with nothing to play for at home 51 - Accrington: 48p: Doncaster A: Plymouth H: Portsmouth A: - Likely to beat Plymouth at the Wham but lose 2 tough away games 50 - Southend: 47p: Rochdale A: Sunderland H: - Showing signs of improvement and could win at Rochdale but would hopefully find Sunderland too strong 47 - Plymouth: 47p: Accrington A: Scunthorpe H : - Could win both, could lose both. Difficult to predict. I've gone for 2 defeats here 52 - Scunthorpe 46p: Bradford H: Plymouth A: - Likely to beat Bradford at home before a winner takes al match at Plymouth 51 - Wimbledon 45p : Luton A: Wycombe H: Bradford A: - Likely to lose to Luton but could win their final 2
That set of results - teams winning the games in bold - would leave us relying on Sunderland winning at Southend on the final day to survive on goal difference. I think we will JUST survive but it's a pity we didn't get the point yesterday which I think would have all but guaranteed it. I don't think Southend will win at Rochdale. Yesterday was their first win in 14 (I think?) and they nearly below it. Rochdale are not completely safe yet, they have the worst goal difference and their last game is away to Charlton so they will want at least a point on Saturday to confirm their safety.

What is more worrying is how the table may look after next weekend if we fail to get a point. I've predicted that Accrington beat Plymouth, Wimbledon beat Wycome, Scunthorpe beat Bradford, Rochdale v Southend draw and only Shrewsbury loose to Coventry.
50. Rovers 50. Wycombe 50. Scunthrope 49. Southend -------------- 49. Wimbledon 48. Plymouth
That would mean if we were to loose the last game, one of Scunthorpe or Plymouth would finish above us so we would need one of Wycombe or Wimbledon to loose or for Southend to pick up no more than a point.
So whilst I think we will be ok, it could get a lot closer before the final day!

There is no reason why we cant get a result against a Fleetwood side with nothing to play for, if GC cant get the lads fired up, fighting for a result then i would be really concerned.
No doubt he has done well, but he must motivate the team to do much much better. Come on Rovers lets get 3 points.

To be fair, I don't think Barton will let them go all flip flops, and he and Evans, especially, but also the rest of the team, will be keen for some revenge for what happened at our place.

I can't see us getting another point, I predict we end up on 50, Southend go down with 48 and one of accy, Plymouth or wombles depending on GD who I have all to finish on 49

As I said yesterday looking at the fixtures I feel Scunthorpe and Wimbledon will both end on 49 points and be relegated
BUT what worries me most is the complacency that many of our fans seem to be adopting over matters..............how can any of us ever forget 2001 and then even worse if that were possible 2014 ? Complacency certainly ruled in those two seasons.

Important tonight that Wimbledon don't win and Accrington loose to Doncaster, as accrington have to play Plymouth if they win Plymouth will land up below us if they loose or draw they will have to beat Portsmouth away. scunthope will have to win their last two games to go above us one is against Plymouth. Southend will have to go to Rochadale and win to land up above us, it appears complicated, hopefully we can go to Fleetwood who are out of the playoff race and probably on a downer with their manager facing a court case and get a result. It must be unsettling for players when they see their manager beating another teams manager up they must think he is a bit of a P**ck.

They only lost to a 94th minute winner at Blackpool yesterday so that's clearly not the case, what's a bit disconcerting is that Barton & Evans might want to prove a point on Saturday after they both got red cards at the Mem, plus every team want's to win their final home league game of the season. In our favour is our long unbeaten run away form home.

Town return to Highbury this Saturday to take on Graham Coughlan’s Bristol Rovers and are hoping to bounce back from Monday’s derby heartbreak at Blackpool. Rovers currently sit 15th in the table, seven points behind Joey Barton’s men, after they suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at home to Rochdale on Easter Monday. Last Friday, they were held to a 1-1 draw away at struggling AFC Wimbledon thanks to Ollie Clark’s late equaliser. A last-gasp Nathan Delfouneso strike denied The Cod Army a share of the spoils in Monday’s Fylde Coast derby, but they will be hoping to pick up their first victory in five matches when they come up against the West Country side this weekend. Here are the ticket prices for the match against Bristol Rovers: Adult – from £24.00
