Fantastic achievement for our ground staff, very well done indeed. And fair play to the owners too for enabling it to be sorted second time around.

Well done everyone concerned, including the forkers! Good job they clarified that it was ‘fork handles’ they wanted when they bought their equipment.

Well done everyone concerned, including the forkers! Prefer the term "dabbers", always chat to the ground staff and dabbermen in the bar after the game - UTG

Best pitch in years coincides with the worst home form in years. If only we tried to play football on it...

Just looked up the award statement on the EFL site - www.efl.com/news/2019/may/grounds-team-of-the-season-award-winners-announced-for-201819/These words make it clear why we won: The EFL's Grounds Team of the Season Awards are determined initially using marks from referees and away managers for each Sky Bet EFL game and are then followed by detailed pitch inspections and a review of management operations.- all away managers were really happy with our pitch! Seriously though, and again, well done the groundstaff
