Gap could be back to 4 pts if we win the game in hand and beat them at the Mem... or a massive 13 pts if we don't! That goal difference is something we can only dream about, but who'd want an idiot like Allen in charge...........

I think I'm right in saying Luton were 10 points behind the leaders at a point last season? I don't think we'll win this league for one minute. But I think if we can keep up and be part of the play-off chasers then we'll be fine.

Long way to go and Barnet have not won anything yet. I am still optimistic we can get something out of this season. UTG & KTF

10 points behind now.... More like 11 points when you take goal difference into account

Keepin the faith here as its still early days but I do think Barnet are very likely to go all the way. Look at that GD. They aren't going to lose their ability to score in my view and that is gonna carry them through in this league. They are the team we have to topple. 25th November a crucial head to head

I assume FGR are likely to have three points docked and possibly run a risk of even more points deducted through appealing?

We were 10 points behind Halifax after 5 games I think, without a game in hand. Long way to go yet.

Well I tell you what, if we manage to close the gap something else will be getting bigger!

Actually after 7 games we were 10 points behind Barnet without a game in hand, so we are better off now than we were then. Long way to go yet.

10 points behind now.... Barnet are on fire at the moment, but all teams have a wobble sometime during the season. We just need to stay in the chasing pack for now. Plenty of time yet.

10 points behind now.... Strange that Barnet have managed to have played one more game or more than every other team and fair play they have taken full advantage. This gives them a huge psychological advantage with no league games until november. We are now playing catch up with games as well as points.

Woulda Coulda Shoulda, fact of the matter is we are not very good, and are already 10 points behind Barnet; guess we are already playing for a play off spot, which should be achievable, if Clarke could ever attract any quality players, this is the time we could really suffer from having a novice manager with no real connections. Unlike last season when we suffered with an experienced manager with plenty of connections?

Unlike last season when we suffered with an experienced manager with plenty of connections? Plenty of connections with Chris Beardsley and his agent...

After four years of rubbish I'd love a playoff finish.
