I would like either Forest green or Newport to go up.The latter in Newport could become a spicy local derby like it was in the 70s/80s..Due to the welsh/english thing and that is about 16 miles straight!
Forest green are never going to be rivals to anyone even tho they are 20 miles away. They are pretty much the same sized club( if not smaller really) than Mangotsfield or Yate town..If the Mangos went up the leagues to Conference level then Im sure they would get more than Forest green did at home games and would take far more to a wembley final!
Its pointless Forest Green being in the league really, and I would far rather Yeovil or Bath City be there as yeovil should be a Football league club, and Bath could easily - just like Weston Super mare support football league clubs.

Bath could possibly, but there just isn't the interest in Weston-super-Mare to sustain a football league club.

The more ‘local Derbies’ the better for me and greater presence in the EFL for the south west / South Wales region. Long gone are our true rivals in City but across the years Swindon Cheltenham Plymouth Torquay Exeter Newport Cardiff and to a degree FGR in our conference season have added spice. So to have Newport up would be good from L2.

Though somewhat out of form to a degree going into the play offs I’ll go with Leeds Sunderland Tranmere

Should be a decent game tonight between Tranmere and Forest Green (cue boring 0-0!).
If Forest Green can get their creative players firing and service into Doidge they should have enough to get a result.
Good to see Grubby starting and the former Weston-super-Mare player will be a threat coming off the left onto his right foot and drifting into positions behind the strikers. George Williams is a class act to come off the bench and is a similar type to Grubb, so if Grubby is misfiring I expect him to come on at some point.
As for Tranmere, when you have a striker in the form of his life like Norwood this season, then you have always got the chance of a goal or two.
Looking forward to it.

I just cannot warm to Norwood pirate. He is a half decent player but a bit Robbie Savage/Luis Suarez. Playing against you hate em, playing for I am sure you love em. We haven’t had one of those for a while have we.

I forgot to say, the key man tonight for me is Reece Brown. On his day a really class act in midfield for FGR and one I'd love here.

Who do you fancy ? WBA v Villa Derby v Leeds Sunderland v Portsmouth Doncaster v Charlton Newport v Mansfield Forest Green v Tranmere I'd like Leeds (been in top 3 all season), Sunderland (likewise) and Newport (bit of local rivalry) to go up. But I think it'll be Villa, Charlton and Mansfield. Is anyone gonna be supporting Pompey with Lee Brown there ? Lee who? 🤔

Unfortunately not really been able to get him into the game or positions he likes following the sending off of Gunning. What was Gunning thinking of kicking out like that? He should know better. An unbelievable strike from Banks for the goal though!

Btw, apparently Reece Brown is out of contract this summer so will be able to move for a compensation fee or if not settled by a tribunal, unless he decides to sign a new deal.

Jo Mills is a good left back and has had a good first half for FGR.
