All three top lads who will be missed on, and just as importantly, off the pitch.

Interesting to hear that Chris Lines chose to pay for his own room rather than share with Rory Gaffeney on one occasion, as "he could start an argument with a wall".

Lines and Sinclair clearly didn't take to GC or vice versa.

Use to be called ambition in my day and I hope he gets a decent contract at a Championship club.

He's had a handful of full international caps in that time and become a half decent L1 player. Struggling to see how it's been too long? Far from a given he could have become a weekly starter for a Championship/top six L1 side in that time, or will do from this point.

Good luck to Tom but I don’t think he is Championship quality I think his mistakes would be punished

Don't think lockyer will make it big time in the championship, maybe ok in a low to middle level team

Also, he reckons he'll get 40 games with a lower Championship team. Expecting to walk in the team then.
I was never a huge fan of Lockyer, his passing infuriated me far too often but I wish him all the best.

Ah but this is football, players must be loyal and they cant get bored in the same team.

Ah but this is football, players must be loyal and they cant get bored in the same team. What's the issue with a player being loyal? Bristol Rovers have been as good for Tom Lockyer as Tom Lockyer has been for Bristol Rovers. Comments from the club captain expressing his desire to have got away sooner just seems petty and unnecessary at this point. The club deserve more respect.

Wish Tom well but, 'couldn't get out earlier for whatever reason' eight years too long? not long enough to learn the art of distribution and passing to a team mate! is it a given that he will go away with Wales this summer? think Tom has had his head turned by Taylor,Billy Boy,and Ellis and the contracts they got, none of whom have set championship alight to say the least, though injuries could have played a part with the latter 2, however money talks and i suppose a man has to do what he can to get the best deal, as i said good luck and thank you Tom but not irreplaceable .have not heard the other two winging yet and dont particularly want to , both served us well but it was time to move on and GC made the right call in my opinion.

"I couldn't get out earlier for whatever reason". Presumably this is a reference to the fact that this is the first summer that he can leave without Rovers receiving compensation?

Couldn't get out earlier because no one would have wanted you. Now after 8 years you have finally put a few performances in, and in turn some clubs are sniffing around. Just think, if you had put the effort in for 8 years, you could have fu(ked off sooner!!!
