About time we covered the away terrace. They may have a sale on at Go Outdoors around September time as long as the club are happy to wait until then?

About time we covered the away terrace. Why?
Any return on this investment?
Aesthetically it would look better, it would add to the atmosphere as away fans would generate more noise..... thus encouraging home fans to counter the noise. Also itās embarrassing giving no cover to away fans. If I was an away fan thinking of going to a match here Iād think twice about coming if there was rain forecast. More away fans might come generating more money.

The whole ground is embarrassing. Yep š And as it looks like weāll be there for the foreseeable future why not try to at least polish the turd ? We seem to keep coming back to this, but the answer is still the same. It isnāt possible to cover the open terraced sections without blocking part of the view from the seats in the East Stand. The only way to cover the terraces, would be to extend the East Stand along the full length of the pitch and thatās probably never going to happen. A potential solution might be a clear glass roof over the terrace, but that seems impractical for a whole raft of reasons.

If the ground had identical stands all the way around stadium it would not look like a dump

If the ground had identical stands all the way around stadium it would not look like a dump That would require knocking down everything though right!! Don't expect to hear from Wael. Why don't we all just post our own drawings of what we hope our stadium could one day look like in a parallel universe.

If that's true, and I don't believe it is, how is it that the new Family tent doesn't obscure the view for those sitting on that side of the East stand?

Often thought that the bar could open for FOOD during the week, breakfast lunchtimes. Think of the caffs round there, they all have trouble parking. Having said that I often put my van in there ad walk down the road for something to eat if I am in the area during the week

Itās a rule that you have to be able to see all four corner flags from your position. I believe this is why we ended up with the joke of a family stand instead of the proposed full length and deeper version.

Is there any reason we canāt set up some kind of park & ride from our car park? I donāt just mean during the summer, I mean Monday-Friday for the entire year. Surely we could charge cars Ā£2/3 for such a service? A fairly secure car park and very close to the city centre... sounds ideal. Iām guessing itās not doable for some reason though? We supply parking to Southmead hospital for staff which they pay for every day of the week and A&S police use our exec boxes for training of some description. I was surprised to learn that last year.

I hope the staff don't have to pay for the parking . I know they do in the hospital's . Never understand it tbh they are underpaid and they provide for caring and saving people's lives.

You canāt see the corner flag by the away terrace from part of the Thatchers end by the family tent. And you cannot see the corner flags on the near touch line from the dribuild stand. Not unless you stand.
