I was in a good mood before I came on here, now I'm a miserable f....r Sorry, I thought a pic with Will Smith and a rovers shirt would bring a brief moment of joy to some. I failed to realise that he isn't really a Rovers fan and everything is really, really bad with Armageddon imminent and having a laugh is unacceptable. it wasnt aimed at you mate it was aimed at a few comments on page 2

A lot of us struggle with the club’s unprofessional image and our president ambushing a Hollywood superstar (who probably has no idea who Rovers are) with a club shirt really does nothing to add to that image and is obviously going make some fans despair. If it was Lansdown then you would have brought me some joy because I’d be laughing at how desperate for attention the Duke of Guernsey is! You wouldn’t catch Lansdown doing it though because for all his faults he has more self respect.

You're being disingenuous and also now a little snippy. You put the photo and said 'all good for marketing' I don't feel it is good for marketing. I think it's pointless, weak and shows a lack of dignity. I think it's better to spend your time improving our club than to Dam present a (very famous) stranger with the shirt of MY club, when he won't know what the hell it's about. Survived relegation with 1 game to go - whoopie . No plans for a training ground. Forget stadium, if you can't have plans for a trg facility we'll be 50 years behind soon.

I probably shouldn’t be writing this because I’ve had a few too many glasses of a red wine (which Oldie would approve of ) and I’m sitting in a hotel room in Zug Switzerland getting ready to pull off quite a big deal tomorrow but with typical Rover stoicism knowing it will probably all go t*ts up !
My Rovers experience started in 1963 sitting on the wall in front of the North Enclosure constantly being told by the stewards “get your feet back on the other side son”. I graduated to the Tote End and by 1987 was in a position to help (in a very small way) Denis and Geoff save Rovers.
You lot know me as the miserable git who consistently predicts financial disaster but, believe me, I have come up the hard way and I was right about Nick Higgs management of the club and I will be proved right about this crowd.
If you think a photograph of a celebrity with a middle aged wannabe and a Rovers shirt is anything to be proud of you are living in the land of make believe as is our club President.
It wouldn’t be so bad if it was Wilf Smith.

Yep, I know what you mean, 1980 in the Championship we signed Wilf Smith and Bob Lee and thought we were going places. If people like me can do any good at all it is to highlight past failings and persuade you not to be taken in by Wael’s £15000 watch and all the rest of it. Rovers need hard cash and straight talk.

We meet every other saturday, and sing songs together. ...during which a collection is taken for good causes. This is followed by 90 minutes of penitence officiated by a man in ceremonial black garb. We also pray for those poor souls afflicted by goal droughts, the lame and for divine intervention in injury time.

Wael gets a photograph with Will Smith, who had over 31 million follows on Instagram and according to loads on here, that is a bad thing lol. No harm will come from the photo, but it can help promote the club.
