Yes i know it was 6-0 but that does not not do justice to Watford who i thought played well and had plenty enough chances to make it difficult for City, they just lacked that composure to finish of any of there excellent moves, whereas City looked likely scorers with every attack, fans can be proud of there teams efforts .

The Football Association Community Shield (formerly the Charity Shield) is English football's annual match contested between the champions of the previous Premier League season and the holders of the FA Cup at Wembley Stadium. If the Premier League champions also won the FA Cup then the league runners-up provide the opposition. The fixture is recognised as a competitive super cup by the Football Association. Just checked and that's what comes up so Man City V Liverpool it is.

It's boring. They're a phenomenal team and everyone else needs to aspire to be like them but a 6-0 cup final is just dead. I turned off at 2-0 because what was the point of continuing to watch?

Pity wolves didn't win the semi-finals, think it would have been a closer game, mind if Watford had scored first who knows.

The result of top Premier League clubs disrespecting the competition Tbf I think this season most big clubs took the FA Cup pretty seriously (barring Liverpool) compared to the previous recent seasons. Unfortunately when the big money is in the champions league then the 'big' clubs won't sacrifice that cup for this one, a real shame but the way football's heading.

Shame Wolves didn't get to the final reckon they would've gave Citeh a decent challenge. Even as someone entirely apathetic to the Premier League and its members, I do have have to acknowledge the achievement of Manchester City, no matter how it is funded etc. winning a domestic treble is no mean feat whatsoever. Fair play to them.
The fact both Champions of the European competitions will be clubs from England is bloody impressive also.

Agreed although the devil's advocate in me would also say that the EPL is probably the best funded and most popular league in the world and so for too long it's been underachieving. To get two finalists in the Champions League and Europa League should not be much of a surprise and I personally would like to see the smaller leagues in Europe have a fairer hand with regards to finances. Outside the EPL, La Liga and PSG, Juve and Bayern there is no meaningful competition. Ajax did exceptionally well this year but they will ultimately just be a flash in the pan just as Monaco were a few years back. People laud Tottenham for their achievement and don't get me wrong they've done well, but their budget far outstrips the likes of Ajax and they're the richest club in the Netherlands.
