We all love to bate the Sh1!heads and vice verse, but surely it’s all just banter, isn’t it? It should be, but of course I’m not naive enough to believe that it always is. I can remember having my eyes opened when I was in my late teens taking a bus in Bristol and overhearing two City supporters talking. They were both in their 50s, I would say. One was saying to the other with deadly seriousness how all Gasheads are scum and that he hated them all and the other was nodding in agreement. Even at that age I couldn’t believe how people could be so stupid as to discriminate about someone purely because of which football team they support. I’ve heard this kind of thing multiple times since, of course. I can understand disliking the club but we’re all just football fans in the end. Why can’t we just enjoy the game and support our team, FFS! If you wish someone harm, purely because of the football club they support (no matter who it is) then you’re not fit for modern society & should be locked in a jacket of the straight variety and left to enjoy a padded room 23 out of the 24 hours in a single day.

Hear hear. I enjoy the banter and I love it when they lose, but for some on both sides to wish harm to come to the other is just sick and idiotic.

But a bit of light bruising or a fat lip is ok though ? especially if your being out bantered. Asking for a friend.

If you’re being out-bantered by a Ted you need to have a serious word with yourself.

I can only add that it is, luckily, a minority who feel this way. My own experience of the football fraternity had been positive and I was helped a lot by their fans and got the treatment started that has helped me. Banter is good but genuine hate is both irrational and just daft. I can forgive it from youngsters but not fully grown and of age adults

Ive seen plenty sad old bitter entrenched Sh1!heads on OTIB claiming to hate us as we tried to steal their ground when they went bust. They proudly claim to have handed this hate down god bless them

Received by Vpmanies House on May 28th Sadly they issued one the previous year as well around the same time. Here's hoping that there's something boiling to power all this speculation though.

I believe our owners at the time (Flook, Bradshaw etc?) put in a bid of around £100,000 for Ashton Gate. It was rejected by the liquidators. Attempting to buy a stadium when you don’t own one, and the only other one in the city comes up for sale, seems pragmatic and sensible. Possibly doesn’t seem quite so cut and dried, if you’re a City fan.

Seems to be the same deal with the confirmation statement whichever one but can't remember which one I viewed at the time.
