Just wondering if any gashead out there has the yellow & green 92/93 away shirt for sale in XL size??? Long shot I know but maybe someone can point me in the right direction!!?? #UTG I have one. Not for sale! Fluorescent yellow and green quarters last worn in a competitive fixture away to Millwall which we won 3-1. (We were mathematically relegated away to West Ham earlier in the season). The last ever game played at the Den and the last time we played in the 2nd tier of English football. Just the 26 years ago. It's priceless. I was there, what a cracking day. Milwall ripping up the place while the match was going on, a fella dressed up as a Lion walking along the roof of a stand. I loved the old cold blow lane ground, walking up that rough track / back lane going up towards the away end, anybody who says they enjoyed it is a liar or a nutter. The strange thing about that particular match was the away supporters cage was left unlocked through-out the match, and there was no trouble, priceless.

Just checked my Roman Glass back catalogue to bring back some memories.. Unfortunately these are in Medium due largely to my age at that point...
Some great memories in the Popular Side!

Wasn't Millwalls first ever and last football league matches against Rovers at the Old Den. I was there for the 3-0 win. Remember the fool with a death wish dressed as a lion crawling along the roof of the stand. Throughout the match they continually had to get new balls as the Millwall fans kept nicking them! At the final whistle they ripped the place apart. Remember walking back to the car with my Rovers top stuffed up my t-shirt with a group of Millwall coming towards carrying turf and ripped out seats. One of them stopped me and said "whose shirt did you get" I just replied "dunno just grabbed it" and carried on walking just a bit quicker!!

I went on my own to the old Den once. Must have been late 70s when we were in the Championship, as it's now known. It was pay on the day then, of course, and for reasons I cannot remember to this day, I ended up on the side terrace, miles away from our away fans, surrounded by hundreds of mean, meaty, vicious looking Millwall fans. And this wasn't even the home end. I think we won 3-1 that day, and a particularly fearsome Saaf London warrior standing next to me kept commenting on the match and asking my opinion. "These caaants are faakin sh**e, ain't they?" "Umm", I said. "We should be faakin smashing these yokels, don't you fink?" "Umm", I said. As our goals went in, one after another, my neanderthal buddy got more and more agitated until he looked ready to explode. Towards the end of the match, he said something like "They ain't getting away wiv this. We'll faakin' av' em later". "Umm", I said, and slipped away as fast as possible at the final whistle. I made it home without any bruises, but it was one hell of an experience.
