i assumed it was the Keeper Not sure you'd call a back up keeper an exciting signing? Mark Little talks about finishing at least in the top 6 this season in his latest interview and we aren't gong to do that w/o some exciting/better attacking players.

I think there was talk of a big signing, someone has got confused and thought that to mean exciting signing by mistake and it has become gaschat fact that an exciting signing was imminent.
Generally I’d expect the exciting signings to be later in the window than earlier.

Pirate and others on his wish list thread have made the point about the better players who are available may have been made many offers and they can take their time deciding on which they think is the best offer and that means waiting longer, probably into July or even August before making their minds up. There will always be good players who want to sort out their futures earlier and Mark Little seems a very good player who’s done that. But I guess not many people will consider a RB, however good, an “exciting” signing. UTG!

Well its all vital pieces of the puzzle, but yes it will have to be an attacking player. By god we need one (or four)!

A fit THD and Little will hopefully offer us a lot of attacking width. For most of last season we started with Kelly and Clarke, both of who are more defensive-minded. A new striker and another winger and we'll be a good side imo.

If Sean Scannell is joining and is fully fit then that would be an exciting signing

In GC interviews and press comments he does mention the need for pacey players quite a lot which is encouraging as its probably the thing opposition players would fear the most, and something we don't have that much of just yet.
Trouble is we have a number of players who are injury risks, like the two you mentioned, so if we have a small squad its vital we can rely on them as much as possible.
I agree with your last sentence but also need a creative midfielder as well imo.

What’s going on? We haven’t a signing for ages! The way this is going we’ll have to sign Bolders up again for another stint :bummer:

If Sean Scannell is joining and is fully fit then that would be an exciting signing Some Bradford fans have said on social media that he's piled on the weight over summer but I'm not sure if that was a case of we don't want to lose this player so we'll badmouth him.

Any sign of him yet ? Surely the price of sausage rolls from last season will cover his wages ?? I assumed it was the keeper. The rumour started off as big news. Then later the person said, they heard it was a signing. I presumed, who ever said it on the first place, was joking about the player's size. But then others passed on the rumour, some saying exciting, instead of big.

Through no fault of the club I would add, as the whole story of there being a "big" or "exciting" signing was most likely only the opinion of the bloke who tweeted it.

Just how much weight can you pile on between the end of the season and mid-June? He must have a doner kebab van parked in his front garden.

Plus I assume he can work it off just as quickly once pre-season gets underway! Although odd if he has let himself go if he really is looking for a move.

I'd be a bit disappointed if he was talking about a top 20 finish tbf
