In case anyone was expecting a detailed and meaningful discussion about the future of our club.
'The focus of this meeting will be solely on the Matchday Experience and we hope that this meeting will form the start of an on-going dialogue to help make gradual improvements, building the foundations for future progression.
Prior to the meeting, please have a think about possible changes that you would like to see made and we will do our best to look into them all to see what is possible.
The meeting will be attended by myself (Tom Gorringe), our Head of Catering, Andy Lilley and our Young Pirates Coordinator Sophie Morgan. However, feedback for other departments will be passed on and any changes or responses reported back at future meetings.'

All of a sudden, people are finding things to do tomorrow that they had forgotten about......

For those who attend have a read of the continuous improvements thread. The mobile food and drink sellers is a must (if you are in the West Stand near the tunnel, you have to walk about 75 yards there and back to the nearest pasty hut. If it p**ing down it will definitely mean some people won't bother getting food. The LBGT rainbow third shirt would raise good funds, awareness and publicity for the club and would attract potential new supporters. Make it with rainbow quarters like a Harlequins rugby shirt.

Attendance was low - about 40 people most. Room was only 25-30% full.
Will provide a summary later but not much to report home on. A bore draw.

41 actions were taken away to be looked at.
There was a man raising issues with access to and the state of the ladies toilets in the east terrace. Tom G said the changes last summer were made to improve situation of access to the club shop on the match day, and that they weren’t aware of the state of them. They’ll go away and resolve.
Someone raised the idea of having goal music as kids at away games love it. Tom G said it is now an option with revised facilities. Will poll on social media to get flavour of fans as to if to introduce it (I’ll be voting no)
Various issues raised regards safety of disabled supporters. Themes were along the lines of were making do with the facilities we have to the best of our abilities. Similar themes with match day parking.
Regards kits it will be ready mid to late July. A new sponsor has been sourced but can’t announce yet due to minor contractual ts and is. Process for new kits starts in November. Kits are made in China, sent to italy, then to us followed by printers. The home kit has arrived, waiting in away kit. Basically close to said home kit is proper quarters. Football index did very well out of our partnership, so well they wanted to move on to a bigger club.
Lots of fancy stuff regards tickets but unfortunately can’t remember the details. Want to do flexi tickets again. There will be smart phone tickets now.
Confirmed what was said by wertongas regards building in the corner and looking to refurbish it.
Someone mentioned having a cover on the south west bar - they’re going to investigate.
Catering guy spoke very well but kept mentioning being at the stadium for 70 years, not sure where that comes from. Was very patient and attentive to questions from the floor that weren’t very business savvy. Said we’ve stopped selling pasties on the cheap as people game it and try to buy them after the game when they would buy them during the match at full price.
Apparently when he started the pasties would go to a bakers off site and be cooked there and bought on site. This alarmed him so he’s bought the cooking on site and worked with piglets pies to arrange a mobile cooking centre. They now do it out of a van and have theee runners to take them to the different kiosks. It hasn’t been perfect but hoping things will improve this season with new POS systems and stick checking so they can get the pasties to the right place before they run out. Hoping to make the outlets more efficient by improving the systems the staff work under.
Lots of commentary on young pirates but don’t remember much on that.

Ball boys: pretty much all GCs vision regards getting youth to understand first team professional football better.
Young pirates: improved mascots experience vastly. Looking to offer experience to siblings as well if a Young pirate wins the experience which wasn’t allowed before.

Thank you for the detailed summary.
Wish they could email the poll on music rather than on twitter, I don’t have Twitter and I’d rsther not created an account just to vote no

Regarding the cooking on site of the pasties, that is how it used to be done! Reverted back to that tried and tested method.

And just a thought.....will our PA system be able to play it....?
Given recent issues with it I think not.
