And just a thought.....will our PA system be able to play it....? Given recent issues with it I think not. The PA system was one of the first matters discussed. Ironically because Toms microphone wasn’t working. Tom made it sound like it was one of the biggest complaints. Apparently he has read word for word almost all of the 2,043 odd responses to the fans survey. Apparently 2 summers ago we invested 30k in a new system. They have done extensive testing, particularly after the Lyndsay parsons incident. There are two microphones and on one the signal isn’t so good, particularly if used from the centre circle, unfortunately this was the one used during the tribute. Tom thinks we’re moving forward on this, doesn’t want to promise anything in case on the first match it fails again! They hope to use the big screen to work around some of the challenges with the PA system.

Nothing mentioned about signings? Or outgoings? Nothing. All about matchday experience.

41 actions were taken away to be looked at. There was a man raising issues with access to and the state of the ladies toilets in the east terrace. Tom G said the changes last summer were made to improve situation of access to the club shop on the match day, and that they weren’t aware of the state of them. They’ll go away and resolve. Someone raised the idea of having goal music as kids at away games love it. Tom G said it is now an option with revised facilities. Will poll on social media to get flavour of fans as to if to introduce it (I’ll be voting no) Various issues raised regards safety of disabled supporters. Themes were along the lines of were making do with the facilities we have to the best of our abilities. Similar themes with match day parking. Regards kits it will be ready mid to late July. A new sponsor has been sourced but can’t announce yet due to minor contractual ts and is. Process for new kits starts in November. Kits are made in China, sent to italy, then to us followed by printers. The home kit has arrived, waiting in away kit. Basically close to said home kit is proper quarters. Football index did very well out of our partnership, so well they wanted to move on to a bigger club. Lots of fancy stuff regards tickets but unfortunately can’t remember the details. Want to do flexi tickets again. There will be smart phone tickets now. Confirmed what was said by wertongas regards building in the corner and looking to refurbish it. Someone mentioned having a cover on the south west bar - they’re going to investigate. Catering guy spoke very well but kept mentioning being at the stadium for 70 years, not sure where that comes from. Was very patient and attentive to questions from the floor that weren’t very business savvy. Said we’ve stopped selling pasties on the cheap as people game it and try to buy them after the game when they would buy them during the match at full price. Apparently when he started the pasties would go to a bakers off site and be cooked there and bought on site. This alarmed him so he’s bought the cooking on site and worked with piglets pies to arrange a mobile cooking centre. They now do it out of a van and have theee runners to take them to the different kiosks. It hasn’t been perfect but hoping things will improve this season with new POS systems and stick checking so they can get the pasties to the right place before they run out. Hoping to make the outlets more efficient by improving the systems the staff work under. Lots of commentary on young pirates but don’t remember much on that. Thanks for the summary, I think it’s a step forward to open dialogue with the fans in the hope to improve everyone’s match day experience. I hope it’s something they take on board and it’s something that can be an ongoing thing. Hopefully now we can also start working on better communication from the top to the fans as I feel this situation needs addressing also.

I'm actually amazed to discover that there is somebody out there who wants goal music. If this is put to poll I would be genuinely surprised if the vote isn’t a yes

The club seem to get a lot of stick at the moment for various things but I see this as a step in the right direction and if it works and becomes an ongoing thing I believe this is very positive

If this is put to poll I would be genuinely surprised if the vote isn’t a yes May I ask why you think this? Polling through social media platforms tends to grab a younger audience to take part. I did some work recently with fan groups and the like and social media questionnaires and polls had a completion rate of around 70% under the age of 25. Some of the data gathered included improving people matchday experiences and the younger generation usually wanted a better atmosphere created using similar methods seen around the country in other sports than just football. Many clubs and other sports use things like music to create atmosphere during celebration and entrances. Rugby, rugby league and boxing are examples of this and football clubs around the country are also starting to do this Not saying I would vote yes mind 😂

Music after goals works in a decent stadium with a decent PA system, I doubt you'd even hear it over the sound of the crowd cheering with our lousy PA system.

Totally agree that our PA system isn’t up to standard. But hopefully that this is the point in holding these fans forums. If something is raised by fans ie music during goal celebrations, and it’s found that fans would like this to improve their experience in the stadium then the club can look into improving the PA system to allow this. Not everything the fans want will be attainable but at least the fans forum is a way to discuss with the club our ideas and the club are able to investigate wether these improvements can be made

Can we please make sure that whoever suggested goal music there tonight is banned from attending all similar events in future? Cheers.
