My point is all the very best can miss from "open" goals and its not fair to point out one instance I could point out several instances, but the point I was making (and did in a further post) is that I don't see a natural finisher in him and think we can find better. We could if we had some investment in the club but sadly we are going to get the dregs and castoffs from other clubs

Isn't any signing by any club at our level dregs and castoffs from other clubs though?
Not many clubs spend money these days.

How has Reilly shown he is a finisher? Queen of South 110 appearances 39 goals ratio 1:3 St Mirren 35 appearances 11 goals ratio 1:3 Bristol Rovers 30 appearances 4 goals ratio 1:7 playing in a poor rovers team struggling to support any striker up front? Career stats 266 appearances 74 goals ratio 1:3.6 Nicholls and Reilly up front seems OK to me provided there are creative midfielders playing to support them as we do not have winger anyway so do not need a tall striker from that perspective

There are plenty of overlooked players from the divisions above or gems from the divisions below that could score goals for us in my opinion. All about finding them.

Just had a chat with a mate and it seems legit. I guess the club would keep quiet about it as they have on these sort of things since the AQ’s took over I'm a bit confused is the injuries legit or Reilly going back North Legit ?

Which begs the question "what the hell are they doing here then?"
We are a club that was already losing a lot of money before they came in, have a shoddy ground with limited options to expand, and are in competition with a same city club who have a billionaire owner. Quite possible he couldn't have picked a worse club to take over.
As for DC wasting money, the buck stops at the top, they still have to sign off any transfers and if doing that has put us in a worse financial position then they have to take blame as well.

As I understand it then it’s the injuries. I just made a quick call to someone who would know and he confirmed it but was not able to say anything about the state of injuries and how long recovery would be. I’m not ITK but just know a couple of people who are and one who still is, close to the club.

Lets face it, there aren't many success stories with Scottish players moving south. The best ones are snapped up by top clubs and the rest, as you say, are pish.

I was watching back the highlights yesterday of our game against Port Vale last season and he missed an absolute sitter from about 8 yards. He missed numerous sitters last season. One that comes to mind was at Wimbledon away I think. that's harsh - it was a great save that one ! Strikers don't score every one on one to be good finishers. just like good keepers do make the odd mistake.

Really hope we don’t sign Jakubiak. Can do a LOT better. Need to offload Reilly too if possible your suggested strikers to replace them Brisgas are ...............

Nope because i know F##k all about football I didn't mean that. The conversation was about where we get our players from and how much is invested. We still get our players from that level and have that amount of investment, in the context of our various failures and successes we have got in, whether you rate JCH or not.
