Tony Craig can always drop in and do a job at left back, after all he has spent nearly all his playing career at full-back. THD will be a miss, although we knew he was injured when he arrived, so no change there. The bigger miss with JCH so hopefully GC has a marquee signing lined up to fire in the goals. Tony Craig has actually played most of his career as a centre back, occasionally filling in at full back. The thought of a 34-year-old Craig at left back, with his lack of pace, fills me with dread. Tony is certainly better placed as a centre-back where his ability to read the game leaves him less exposed than if he was on the flank as a full back, we must have another youngster that can fill that role?

I have complete sympathy for Tareiq and how frustrated he must be to be unable to play pain-free, from a selfish point of view I hope he makes the decision on whether to retire/keep going sooner rather than later, so that we can act and replace him as soon as possible if he isn't going to feature this season. He's probably one of our top earners, and is another player that DC paid a big fee for. Others have mentioned that he wouldn't be playing for us without the injury problems he has, and that's a fair assessment, but it's looking like that it's another expensive gamble that's not paid off.
Either way, we could do without this dragging on and for him/the club to make a decision as quickly as possible so that we can get our squad in place.

I’m pretty sure I didn’t say who posted it but I do know it’s not there since later on in the same day. I really hope that it’s not as bad as many are saying. Many, who went to the Yate game, have said GC said he’d be out for months but would GC openly say this and to so many ? I doubt it and another case of fat bloke down the pub said so must be true They meant it wasn't THD in the photo. It was Sam Matthews, who has a knee injury and has it in a cast. He posted a photo of himself. Ok and thanks. I only saw the photo as it was sent to me but when I clicked the link, it was gone.

I understand what you mean and I would imagine the club is doing all it can, to find out the extent of injury but I’d be stunned if anyone with knee serious ligament injury, would be able to use a bike but I’m no expert. A trusted friend told me that GC said out for months, at the Yate game

He’s a talented player and we looked better with him, when he first started playing and went on that little but important run of games

I can't read Peter Parker's tweet, but I have read this on-line:
"I need to know why people speak so confidently on things they don't know"
Seems positive to me

Maybe he would like to put the record straight then I'm sure the record will be put straight, as and when the club decide to do so. In the meantime, I guess he, like a large number of fans, are just bored of the BS 'ITKers' on here and elsewhere.

Maybe he would like to put the record straight then Maybe he wouldn't. Maybe he could do a "Pogba" and get his brother to drop a hint
