With a new stadium costing approximately 40 million & we get an average of say 8500 , that means we only need to cough up £4750 each.Who’s going to get the ball rolling? Alot of The funding from the stadium is being generated by the housing being built as part of the stadium complex. She who has no shadow lives in Wimbledon and she said the cost of these studio flats/apartments are upwards of £500,000 each

Mental really.

Ha! Yeh. Also the corners in the artists impression are connected so what are they actually building? Perhaps they're building the corners first, and at a later time will build the 4 main stands.... f**k me, this ain’t bingo!

There may be some who have more to spare, for a bigger share (not me btw) bringing down the input considerably. Although we can take nearly 40,000 to Wembley, so its easy, 20,000 at £2K a pop.

The club needs to be fan owned Barcelona ? Real Madrid ? It never works. Different model and scale entirely. The 90,000 fan owners of Real Madrid pay about 11 million euros a year to the club between them, chicken feed compared to the massive TV money the club receives, as well as all the other sources of income. For Rovers and clubs like us, the owners' money is vastly more important.
If we had, say, 3,000 people paying the same average as Real Madrid (£132 each) for membership, that would only be about £400k. Nowhere near enough to keep the club going when you compare to the millions that our owners are lending the club each year now.
Maybe it wil work when football finally implodes....

OK - £4750 X 8500 does make £40mil... but obviously it is unlikely we have 8,500 with £4750 in spare change. But if you have actual ownership, then we could well find quite a few 'wealthy' fans willing to put significantly more in - if they can have 'a say'. Can't see Dwane Sports embracing that though. There are various different ways to structure ownership. Personally I like the way German football is structured and that Clubs (with just a couple of exceptions) are 51% fan owned. Sadly - that's never going to happen in England. The current 'business model' we have is totally unsustainable and is going to go 'pop' soon though. And other structures may than have a chance to be established.

I wouldn't use Madrid as an example of anything. The President wants to borrow 500m Euros to add ZERO seats to the Bernabeu

We could always get the supporters club to set up a share scheme with the club, that could work.......
