On a similar subject I came out of Asda this morning an there was this poor ol lady crying her eyes out. She'd lost all her holiday money. I felt so sorry for her I gave her £50.
I dinnae usually do that kind of thing but I'd just found £2000 in the car park. You’re all heart Jock.

What do you want to hear? Wael came out saying we're looking for sites in March. He also said he speaks to investors/buyers every day & will sell the club if someone can come in and build us a stadium faster. Do you think he would sell the football club for £0 ? Because that is what it is worth. Mmm. I think that’s what happened at Bury. But the new owner unfortunately didn’t realise they were £ms in debt so instead of getting a bargain.... the rest is history, a bit like poor Bury will be in a week or so. 😢 UTG!

Bond scheme announced in March 2018 to raise £3.5m for a training ground:
The £5m maximum raised (from 740 people) before launch day:
Fans paid back early:
Built and open:
Great post. No replies from the Al-Qadi fan Club? How odd? Amazing what can happen when a Club is run competently, has a vision, and a clear strategy. Those giants of Norfolk have engaged supporters that do not appear to be apathetic. Or just pathetic. My original point was the potential we have as a Club to progress with supporter involvement. I guess it's a moot point as the Board have flatly refused any initiatives presented to them. Some people are happy with that. Fair enough. Norwich City are giants compared to us. Their last sub 20,000 average home attendance was 15 years ago. We haven't had half that turn up in over 40 years.

I was about to post something similar. They average 27,000? Us 8,000!!!
There is no comparison between the two.

I’d be all for something along this line, although considering a rather basic new stadium eg Cardiff City Stadium which was completed 10 years ago cost £48 million, to build the same now you’d be talking closer to £60million for a new yet basic stadium. I can’t help but think crowdfunding wouldn’t work in our position, especially as the owners seem to want to remain firmly in control of any assets, new and old. Personally I’d love to see us re-visit the possibility of the fruit market site, this was a realistic option I’m told some years ago, this would help the council with their interest in extending the temple enterprise zone to this area of the city.

740 fans paid an average of £6,756 per fan to raise £5m. The minimum investment was £500. The bond scheme maximum was reached before going on general sale.
'The priority was pitches and gym rather than swanky offices...'

I think the council see the Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone as being full of thrusting creative media types who power nap and invent useless things, not a football stadium half full of fans moaning about sausage rolls.
