They are still being helped by parachute payments. So what they charge, won't make a lot of difference. If we were getting anywhere near what that get, we could drop our prices. We are losing enough already though. Great post Daniel. Apart from: "So what they charge, won't make a lot of difference". Yes it will. Obviously. "If we were getting anywhere near what they get, we could drop our prices" We have a capacity of around 12,000, so that is a moot point. "We are losing enough already though". And we will lose even more money when less people turn up to pay £22 to watch 3rd tier football on a terrace behind a goal.

So am I right to assume that if I print off a ticket it will be read by the same reader at the turnstiles used for the ST card? Can’t think it wouldn’t otherwise there would not be much point....but it’s not clear to an old duffer like me...🤪

This season they have gone up a pound. Don't think a pound in 2 years is bad. £22 is only for the games that require extra policing etc. A lot of fans including myself have a few pints etc before a game. An extra pound will not break the bank.

This is where the Season Ticket direct debit option is a godsend. £30 a month all paid up by February, I believe x3 payments have already been taken for next season. This works out at £13 a game for an adult on the terracing, who isn’t quite hitting the ‘bus pass’ age just yet!

I think it’s more to do with the fact they travel in very impressive numbers & generally their younger fanbase are a bunch of scallywags. I mean a**holes.

Yeah it's not that they are Top 6, that's just the vernacular used.
Plenty of history with Lincoln trouble wise and no doubt the extra cost is to cover the inevitable old bill. Whether the cost is juutifiable or not is another matter.
I remember the play-off games particularly kicking off quite a bit

Lincoln a top 6 fixture !!!! 😮 WTF!? Because of previous violence that made the media is my guess. It could get lively on that front and I doubt we had any choice.

We are losing enough already though. I’m pretty sure that the debts have not been due to attendances but expenditure elsewhere. Of course, it would help if we got higher attendances but I think the owners need to rationalise spending in other areas. I still feel the London office is a frivolous and unnecessary expense

I didn’t realise it was that much as it’s been two quid extra in the past. As I said though, I doubt we had any choice after the glassing of one of our fans and the media exposure it got, that brought up past violence between the two sets of fans.

Let the £400mil-worth Al Qadi family pay for it then. I certainly won't be paying £26 or £28 to watch a 3rd tier game when the usual price will be £19*. Edit: *Sorry, my mistake. Usual price £23 & £26.

Whilst I don’t like it, it won’t stop me from going. You are talking about the thatchers terrace I take it ? I now watch from the SW seating. Are you saying it will be 7 or 8 quid extra for that area or from seated areas please ?

Personally think we will see a huge drop off in attendance this season, unless we somehow find ourselves in the mix.
Ridiculous to charge a penny more than £20 to watch the gas in the absolute dump that is the Mem (appreciate posh seats will be more I’m talking blackthorn end). Even that is expensive if you ask me should be capped at £15 for standing.
