Ever present for Walsall for the last 2 seasons at left back, I assume that supports the suggestion THD is out for a few months? Coggers also said kelly is injured . Don’t know how bad either is though.

Judging by the comments from the Walsall fans, GC is going to have a hell of a time keeping him out the nightclubs. Shame, I thought we had finally seen the back of those types of players. Ah..but...Ched Evans.

Pirate... I posted about this guy a few weeks ago. Great signing ... I posted about him in March 2018. gaschat.co.uk/post/379894Certainly looks like he has a useful left foot on him in those videos.

Lahey and Leahy originate from two different Gaelic surnames. Lahey, Lahy, Lahiff, Lahiffe, Laffey, and Lahive all originate from the Gaelic surname O Laithimh, which itself is a variant of O Flaithimh. O Flaithimh derives from the Irish word flaitheamh, which means lord or ruler.
Also derives from Old Irish láechda, láech ("warrior-like, pertaining to a warrior").
All hail warrior-like Lord Leahy the new ruler of the left side.

Been nice knowing you Luke... You could not make it up. Some writing a player off, who has been a virtual ever present in league one for the last two seasons. He's a young lad, so this old git is quite prepared to accept he likes a night out, as no doubt other players in our squad do.

Pirate, do you really think this is a good signing? Walsall fans seem to think he's awful, an equivalent to our Stefan Payne

Before anyone writes him off we they need to remember in the last three seasons we have had Bob Harris and Joe Martin at left back😂

Our thoughts are with you from walsall at this sad time. So a virtual ever present for you the last two seasons is the main reason you were relegated last season?

Looking more likely our wide attacking treat is going to come from our fullback positions

Walsall fans do not rate this bloke one bit, but look forward to making my own judgement after seeing him in the quarters.
Welcome Luke.

Good player. Welcome to the club Luke! Walsall fans don't seem to agree! Not really inspiring but cant do anything else than wait and see I guess? How many times can we say in a pre-season “that’s the defence sorted then? Lol

Good player. Welcome to the club Luke! Walsall fans don't seem to agree! And? Do I care? Nah. He's so bad he got 17 assists in the past 2 seasons for them.

Welcome to Luke, 26 years old with a wealth of experience in Div 1, with Tareiq & Kelly both out injured for a few weeks, Luke can definitely stamp his claim on the number 3 Jersey, plenty of competition now in defence l would say. Now looking for those pacey wingers and that marquee centre forward signing, GC has been harping on about for the past 8 weeks. It will be ******* calamity if we have to start the season with “no goals” Nichols up front, with wingers from last season who found it hard to even keep up with the pace of play.
