We are not moral Fc we won't get many players if we believe they should never have had a brush with the law or made mistakes after alcohol, I don't condone any of their mistakes but Ranger is hardly Luke McCormick

And this isn't stuff he did as a youth. He only came out of prison in 2017 and was sacked by Southend in 2018.

Don't know who the hell would want to sign him. Complete bellend
Would love any of those that seriously voted yes to explain
It is a tough one and maybe I am crazy and naive, but I would take him on a month to month deal with break clauses inserted into the contract. I believe he wants to turn his life around and realises there will be no more chances if he f**ks up again. I'd have him coaching in the academy and eventually out in the community to help kids avoid the mistakes he's made. And you have the nerve to criticise Walsall fans opinions yet you want that clown at our club!

Totally agree with pp. This isn't just somebody who made one mistake and deserves another chance. This bloke has been charged or convicted of - street robbery, possessing a replica gun, assault, drunk and disorderly, homophobic comments, criminal damage, rape, common assault, criminal damage again, hitting a woman three times in the face, drunk in charge of a vehicle, conspiracy to defraud, and money laundering! In addition of course, to numerous occasions of not turning up to training. It's a bit of a no-brainer isn't it?! This. Bristol Rovers is a club doing great things in its community. I can't equate this to signing a character such as Ranger. Anyway, he's not actually very good. Definite no.

Why don't we just leave it to the Manager!! if he feels he can manage the obvious talent then sobeit...or shall we protest by not turning up for games if he signs or perhaps we could boycott EFL games?

Not a chance.... I don't think he's actually that good let alone all of the other reasons like his attitude, his misdemeanours etc etc.... I just can't see him ever changing and completely ridding himself of his bad side and elements

I am all for redemption, but how many chances do you give someone. Assault, drugs, fraud, banning orders and continuously late for training.
How much effort do you have to put into they guy and to what affect on the rest of the squad

Don't get me wrong, I'd probably give the guy another chance, but it's no bother to me if we don't. There are plenty of other good strikers out there I would rather sign anyway, that don't come with the history that Ranger has.

Absolutely. This is clearly someone who isn't fit to manage themselves in professional football. I don't think he'd improve us in any way on the field either.
