Apologies if I have missed another topic on this all.. But given as we now know that the above is this seasons training kit, do we think its safe to assume that the new home kit will have accents of yellow as well as the usual blue and white? I had a very quick look at historical training tops and I could not see any evidence that we have ever introduced the away colour scheme into the training kit. With this in mind I would think it far more likely that the yellow in the training kit hints at the potential colour scheme of the home kit and not the away. If I was a betting man, I would suspect something similar to our 05/06 home kit with yellow trim on various parts of the kit.. If indeed a return to something similar to the above does transpire to be correct, what are our thoughts on the away kit? I personally was a big fan of the black and grey effort of two seasons ago, so something along those lines again will be fine by me. I suspect however that we will instead return to a more traditional green after not having green for a few years now... If indeed we do return to green, I would love to see us in something similar to our 07 effort, modelled here by the one and only Sir Ricky of Lambert. One of my favourites of recent(ish) years, a nice clean design with a more subtle green.. Thoughts on what you would like to see this coming season fellas?

Wael told me what the new kits were like, but asked me not to tell anyone.

Feel free to close down mods, clearly silly season at the moment and actual conversations are proving hard to come by.
I will check back in once the schools are all back.
Have a good summer all.

Crikey, you really are a bit of a tit aren't you? Grow up mate. Who? I find it hard to believe that would be aimed at me considering it is me who has tried to get a conversation going here??

Not a dig at the OP but at what age do people stop caring so deeply about what a kit looks like?
I think 30 should be the cut off.

Good post OP. I rather liked the 2005 home kit so wouldn’t mind a return of the yellow trim, it is our third “colour” after all.
Not sure about a green away kit though, it does evoke good memories of the FA cup tie at Fulham but for me it makes the players blend in with the pitch a little, I’d prefer them to stand out more but might just be me.
The rumour is that the home kit this year is going to be similar to the 1989-90 promotion season to mark the 30 year anniversary.

For what it is worth, I turned 30 on Monday and still look forward to seeing the new kits and have bought the last 12 or so home kits now I think so I am building a collection that I would quite like to keep going. The rumour is that the home kit this year is going to be similar to the 1989-90 promotion season to mark the 30 year anniversary. Would be a nice touch.

it's not the shirt that matters. It is the badge, The badge needs to be in the right position so players can kiss it when they win a throw-in.

Buy the odd retro one here and there though. I like seeing the new kits when they come out, but it’s not anything I spend even a second getting remotely excited about before we get to see them.
