What a load of sh**e. Why is it inspired by the people of Denmark ?
So Lansdown thinks that you only bunk off school, overcome addictions, deliver a baby, save a life etc etc if you come from Bristol.
What a tw*t.

Apologies if I’ve missed something but how do we know this was funded by Lansdown?

No! We are Bristol. According to every opposing manager and nearly every pundit, commentator etc.that ever mention us.

As the OP I should emphasise there was a question mark after my initial statement about Lansdown. Not inferring at all that the Duke of Guernsey had anything to do with it........

So... Something inspired by marvellous Marvin perhaps, who possibly asked for some financial backing from various "institutions" in the city. Us nor the cricket are visible so maybe we have better things to spend our money on?

I don't believe Bristol gets as much government or EU money thrown at it, but happy to stand corrected. Guess Boris will see to it that it isn’t an issue about EU funding much longer! To clarify investment is all private sector led, politicians aren’t interested in this area. Quite so which is why Wales and Scotland are heavily in favour of remaining because they get an inordinate amount of public money compared to the west. Lets see them compete on an even playing field when that gravy train dries up.

You'll find that Wales voted to leave which is surprising as they get more funding from the EU per person than the English do on average. The Eu do not produce anything, they just hand back a little of the money we paid them to be in the club, I might suggest we would have a lot more money to 'fund' things if we cut out the middle man.

An over simplified view assuming no benefits are received as a result of our membership. Our economy is part of a 600m people economy with 120 global trade agreements soon to shrink to a 60m people economy with zero trade agreements and less power to get good terms than we do now. The economy is at high risk of substantial shrinking meaning we produce less revenue and collect much less tax than we do now. That means less money for us not more. Bit like the 70s really before we joined the Common Market and we we all had a lot less than we do now. Bring back flares and those multi coloured tank tops, and white dog sh** and power cuts.

Nothing over simplified about handing over £20 and getting £1 back to spend on what the taker chooses. I remember joining the Common Market, I did not want to join but lost the vote so had to suck it up as the saying goes, why can't others do the same now ?

Absolute garbage and I don’t accept losing my rights and standard of living because of xenophobic twats who haven’t got a Dam clue.

Let's also keep it civil-ish, thanks.
