In a good way, obviously.

So selling out of shirts within hours of release is now a bad thing? My word. It's not like they've had all summer to build up sufficient stock, I assume they'll now have to incur postage costs sending them out? Why can't the club get anything right off the pitch.

Maybe the shirt design took a while to sign off? Maybe you can't find something else to moan about?

Bravo to Tom Gorringe and co for selling out the new home kit on the first day of sale. Shows that a great deal of thought has been put into developing a very well received kit. I’m sure many more will sell once more are in stock.
Only at Bristol Rovers can supporters complain about merchandise selling out early. This is the negativity GC was talking about. Like spoiled children sometimes, you’d think we’d have more patience given our history.

As much as you’d love it to be the case, macron aren’t at our beck and call. They certainly don’t have nexts seasons club strips stitched, printed and ready to go a week after after the seasons ended. So they’ve sold out quickly? Whose to say the club didn’t have an astronomical amount on sale today? After all, it appears this is quite possibly the most popular Rovers shirt in a generation. Time to lighten up, be happy, less of the stress. You’ll live longer.

According to Claire the smallest shirts that will be on sale will be 5-6 years. Shame if true.

But why do we have to sell every single shirt that’s being made for BRFC, on this very day? I’ve no doubt absolutely boat load were sold today, given the queue I was standing in. As I’m sure they will continue to do so throughout the week.

Club run out of extremely popular new shirt , oh the humanity. The club can’t win, I believe from what I was told that last season they over ordered the away shirt & ended up having to sale them at a loss, so I presume this season they may be being a little bit cautious in their ordering & gauge the interest first.

Exactly, selling Rovers merchandise and managing stock (that goes with matchday food as well) must be the most difficult job in the world, trying to gauge and satisfy the huge number of entitled supporters we have

Maybe the Club should reach out (to Forums like this) to gauge support for potential new strips. I think we could have told them last year that another insipid, boring yellow away kit would not sell well. The previous away shirt (black & grey quarters with yellow trim) was pretty much universally popular. We should always wear quarters IMHO.
