Pretty sure Wael tried to talk to fans at the AGM but all he seems to have got his abuse? What are you expecting him to say which you'll believe anyway? 1When is the new stadium going to be built ? 2When is the field at Almondsbury going to be developed into a training facility ? 3How the **** does he expect GC to attract any decent players to BRFC when the players trading at a Western League ground, the MEM Stadium is one of the worst in the EFL and the playing budget is far too low ? 4Why does BRFC apparently pay for a office in London ? 5Why doesnt he engage with the supporters more, at least piggie Higgs produced a monthly message? 6Why is he letting the club stagnate ? 7What the **** did he actually mean by “evolution not revolution “ because to date it appears to have been total mathematical ******* ? Personally fed up with platitudes, and “it’s Confidential “ so stop asking me any challenging questions “Geoff” ffs.

Personally fed up with platitudes, and “it’s Confidential “ so stop asking me any challenging questions “Geoff” ffs. 1) When we've found a suitable site and have secured planning consent and the investment needed. It will take time so you need to be patient. 2) When the stadium is sorted (see above response). 3) The manager has a budget it's up to him and the recruitment officer to bring the talent to the football club. The mem and budget had not prevented us signing talented players to date e.g. Little, JCH, THD, Bodin, Harrison, Taylor etc. 4) None of your business, I own the club so if I want an office in London that's up to me. 5) Because the more I engage with supporters the more I am abused by a minority of them. 6) The club is probably at its right level now, i.e. L1. We need to improve the infrastructure before we can move much further up the pyramid. Patience is required. 7) It means we will need to be patient as we are going to ensure that any improvements are done in a sustainable way. Lots of love, Wael xxx

Thought I’d mention here instead of starting another thread..
Bolton, two more players this week have opened proceedings to terminate their contracts. Will leave them with approx 5 first team players.
Cancelling friendlies because they can’t field a team. Sad times for their fans, will be interesting to see what happens with their league position and status and how it will all impact us.

Last season Bolton couldn't field a team to play Brentford and the EFL awarded Brentford a 1-0 victory despite the game not taking place so I assume this is what would happen again. We don't play Bolton until October so I reckon they will have got themselves sorted out by then.

Scary how clubs are on the brink of liquidation. Could easily be us one day.
I think some form of flexible cap on players wages needs to be reintroduced. I’m sure when Jimmy Hill was arguing for wage increases he’d never thought It would lead to clubs demises.
Crazy to think we spend £97 on player wages for every £100 we make.

They are hoping that they can push the takeover with Football Ventures through before the window closes so they can inject some capital and hastily assemble a squad. The longer the hold up with the takeover, the shorter deadline they are giving themselves and in the meanwhile none of the players and staff are getting paid.

The earlier you play Bolton or Bury the easier it will be, up against scratch teams. If they get themselves sorted there will be plenty of decent players without clubs they could sign after the deadline. Not sure October is soon enough.

I’d be gobsmacked otherwise. Tales of last seasons squad members unable to pay mortgages and struggle to put food on the table for their kids will have any footballer, poor average or quality, give the Reebok or Gigg Lane a miss around the tune of say, 200 miles.

I think we are a lot better off than most, and some of us have forgotten how close we were to going out of business when we moved to Twerton. The only good thing is we always seemed to have paid our way

Have Bury got any players left? Plymouth fast becoming a team full of ex-Bury (owing to the manager moving).

Fair point. However Wael seems to be the only one of the share-holders actively involved in running the Club. Quick re-cap - £3mil a year losses on gates of around 8,500. The penny has got to drop soon with his acolytes. He hasn't got a clue how to run a Football Club. "We're losing money, but so are loads of other Football Clubs". Is not a valid response. Wael needs help. Or a buyer for his toy. I just wish Waq would start speaking to the supporters, he thinks it is acceptable to talk **** “ evolution not revolution “ b*******, there is no football club without supporters. IMO the club is in free fall, novice manager, poor squad of players, l would be pleasantly surprised if we get many home gates above 8k this coming season. The supporters who follow the team home and away are the future and deserve better, if Waq will not man up and show more respect to the fan base, then l hope he does the honourable thing and sell the club / debt to a group who are truly interested in the future prosperity of BRFC. OMG really ?

Believe they've got about six players, and that Bolton have a similar number, it is a farce that either of these teams have been allowed to continue, as someone else said it will be a big advantage to play them early, that is assuming that they eventually manage to get themselves together. However the efl are opening themselves up to teams scratching and results being expunged.

Reports from sky saying Bury now facing possibility of expulsion from the EFL , as they have not supplied football creditors debts to the EFL which has to be done by the end of the day. With fixture list now out I presume teams in league I will all get a bye and 3 points for their games against Bury. Club will get served with 14 day notice if info isn't forthcoming.
